Today was another slow day so I went out to lunch with my two favorite guys.
Dad: "So how are things between you two?"
Me: "Pretty good."
Jake: "I mean I love your daughter what else is there to say sir?"
Dad: "I'm glad she desveres a good guy like you."
Jake: "Thank you sir."
Dad: "Jake please call me Kevin."
Jake: "Ok Kevin."
Dad: "See there you go."
Jake: "Ha ha I could get used to going out to lunch with my two favorite Pearson's don't tell the others though."
Me: "Aw Jake."
Dad: "That's the sweetest thing I've heard in awhile."
Jake: "Holt texted someone just got murdered gotta go investigate."
Me: "Bye daddy see you later."
Jake: "I'm going with you we work together?"
Dad: "She meant me."
Jake: "Oh."
My dad laughed thank god.
Dad: "You two are perfect for each other."
Me: "Thanks dad."
Dad: "Go kick ass."
Me: "Thanks dad I love you."
Dad: "And I love you."

Rosa: "The wife did it for sure."
Me: "I agree."
Jake: "But what if it was-"
Charles: "No it was for sure the wife."
Jake: "I know I was joking. Bring her in for questioning."
Me: "Twelve thousand and two cases solved!"
Jake: "You are on fire baby!"
Me: "Thanks to you."
Rosa: "Get a room."
