Sweet water river's water looked still and calm from my serpent "throne". I zoned off staring into the deep, crystal blue waters of the river, replaying the conversation with my dad in my head. I thought over and over again if he could only come home. If only Penny Peabody would permanently stay away from Riverdale. Then my dad could come home, and my mom would finally be okay again. Everything would be normal once again. Everything would be like it was before my dad "died", before my mom tried to kill herself, before all hell broke loose. I broke out of my gaze and looked around at the serpents currently at the camp. I spotted Sasha, Claire, and Sean lounging around an old, broken, rusty car. I walked over to them devising a plan in my head.
"Hey guys." I said, interrupting their conversation. They all stopped laughing and looked at me, smiles on their faces.
"Hey Avie!" I rolled my eyes at Sean's nickname for me. Ever since he was a toddler he would call me Avie. I always hated the nickname and thought it was really annoying, and he knows that.
"What did you need girl?" Sasha asked.
"I have a plan let's call it....operation beanie. But, anyways I need your help and anybody else help we can get. Ask your parents, your friends, other serpents, anybody. Just gather up as many people as you can and meet me here tomorrow night, at sundown." I stated. The group all nodded their heads and agreed to ask their friends and family. I thanked them and walked away, confident and smiling. If this plan worked, my dad could come home.
