Just as I had requested Sean, Sasha, and Claire had spread the word about my plan, and almost the whole town had showed up. Aunt Cheryl and Toni were there with Claire and Mason. Uncle Archie and Aunt Veronica were there with Gabriel and Issa. Josie and her daughter, Alani, were there. Reggie and his son, Jake, were there. Uncle Kevin and his daughter Kayla was there. Moose was there with his kids, Courtney and Sawyer. And of course Uncle Fangs was there with Sean, and Uncle Sweet Pea was there with Sasha. I had told my mom about the serpent meeting, and I was hoping she would've come.....but I guess not. I whistled to get everyone's attention. Everyone stopped their conversations and turned their attention towards me.
"Serpents, honorary serpents!" I called out, "Penny Peabody has caused too much pain to my family, my serpents, and my town. Tonight it stops!" Everyone cheered. I saw my moms car park next to the river. Then, none other then Betty Jones herself stepped out of the car. Her hair was in the iconic neat ponytail she hadn't worn in years, and she was wearing her serpent jacket. My mom looked like pre-widowed Betty Jones. I smiled and exhaled.
"Now if you are here, you are a serpent. Even if you are not officially, tonight you are. That means you need a jacket." I opened a box carrying about twenty serpent jackets. Aunt Cheryl and Toni helped me pass them out to our new serpents. While the jackets were being passed out my mom jogged over to me with a worried look on her face.
"Ava what's going on? Why is the whole town here?" She asked.
"Don't worry mom, I have everything under control." I smiled trying to reassure her everything would be okay. She nodded her head but I could still see the worry in her eyes. I squeezed her shoulder and looked up at the group. Everyone had on black leather jackets, with the iconic snake on the back, hanging from their shoulders. I bent down searching for my battle plan in my backpack. I fished out the giant rolled up map and unrolled it on the ground. I waved everyone over, and my serpents gathered around all studying the marked up map of our town. The map of riverdale had circles, and arrows, and Xs all over, symbolizing our attacks. I looked up at everyone.
"This is our battleplan"
