God, I did not mean to be away from this story for so long. I'm sorry it took me months to do so, but I hit a point where I got both writer's block (hey, my name finally affects me) and lack of inspiration for a time. I was stuck in the first part of this for a long time and couldn't figure out a way to continue to the rest of the chapter. However, thanks to a guest reviewer's suggestion on Fanfiction.net, I found the inspiration and motivation to get this back out. To those of you still reading, thank you for being patient - it means a lot.

A few conversations take place between the Daxam Four, there's a quick visit to Earth-38, and Thea and Winn bond over not liking safe houses.

Oliver sighed when he heard a knock on his office door. "Come in," he called, pinching the bridge of his nose.

The door opened, and a familiar brunette head poked in. "Hey," Barry smiled sheepishly, stepping inside and closing the door behind him. "I'd ask how you're doing, but . . . "

"Yeah, you can probably guess," Oliver put his pen down. "Grateful for the distraction, though."

"Well, happy to be a distraction," Barry smiled, walking over. "So, I warned Joe and Julian back in Central City."

"Let me guess," Oliver raised an eyebrow as his friend sat across from him. "Joe isn't happy."

"That would be an understatement."

"Well, considering his son has been taken by my villain and his daughter could be in danger of it, too," Oliver sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"True," Barry tilted his head side to side. "But considering all the times you've helped me when I've asked, he'll just have to deal with me helping you for once."

Oliver raised an eyebrow. "Digger Harkness. The League of Assassins."

"Rainbow Raider," Barry countered. "Thawne. Cisco and I brought you in to deal with Vandal Savage. You and your team came to help with the Dominators. You figured out who Savitar was in less than an hour. Man, I have a fair bit to pay you back for. Besides, he's messing with my team, too. I'm helping anyway."

Oliver chuckled, unable to keep from smiling. "Well, thank you, Barry."

"No problem," Barry smiled back. "What kind of friend would I be if I didn't help?"

Oliver raised an eyebrow. "A friend with a very good reason not to help."

"I'd be an asshole of a friend because it's not just my team on the line," Barry retorted. "Chase thinks I'm in his way to get to you. If he thinks taking my team is going to get me out of his way, he's completely wrong. If anything, he's just giving me a reason to punch him in the face even more."

Oliver shook his head, grinning. "Get in line."

"How about I'll punch him and leave him for you to finish off."

Oliver snorted. "He's got Lena and two of the Steins. I'd say Kara and Sara get to punch him, too."

Barry nodded thoughtfully. "Good point. There wouldn't be much left of him to finish off when he gets to you."

Oliver palmed his face, mainly just to hide the smile growing wider. "Barry."

"Yes?"

"You're really good at being a distraction."

"Should I stop, then?" Barry grinned back.

"If I need another distraction, I guess I know who to call," Oliver chuckled. "Thank you, Barry."
