Caught Eyes

New Arrival

In a dimension far, far away from the planet Earth. In the world of Mewni. Stood a lively village full of creepy monsters, whom had sharp teeth, buffed bodies and scaly skins. But somewhere around the village, lived a scaly monster with mint green skin and a single eye, named Souvii. He looked thin with dark scales around his body, sharp humps at the back of his head. He wore a torn bright red shirt and ripped jeans. Note the golden earring worn on one of his humps. Most monsters ignored him for how weak he is. But he didn't seem to care and just did his job. Which was transferring food to other monster tribes from far away lands. Reason why he is thin is because he isn't really fed well after working.

Meanwhile...

Souvii was sitting on a cut log, sweat pouring down his head due to the summer heat, but he still had to do work. Souvii sighed and wiped his forehead with his wrist. "So.. Hot.." He muttered as he panted silently. He slammed both hands on his knees before pushing himself up. Souvii lost his balance when he got up but he didn't fall down on the ground, because if he did, it'd be very awkward. He stretched his arms up, firmly closing his eye as he did. He proceeded to his cart afterwards.

Minutes passed, and the cart was full of freshly grown corn.

Souvii was standing beside the cart, silently staring at the pile of fresh corn. He had his tongue out, his eye reflecting said corn. Souvii turned his head to the side after hearing distant conversations.

"I heard the boss was replaced by someone new."
"Huh, really? I never liked Gadien, to be honest."
The conversation went on, seeming to get Souvii interested. He braced himself and walked towards the two monsters.

Souvii approached the two, silencing them for a few seconds. "H-Hey.. What are we talking about?" He stuttered, scratching his head.
"The new boss." One replied seconds later.
"New boss? What happened to Gadien?" Souvii politely asked.
"Not sure, we just heard him being replaced by someone new." The monster shrugged. "I don't remember his name though.." He added.
"All I saw was that he had skulls on his shoulders." The other monster added, tapping his chin.
"Skulls..? What else?"
"He was a lizard, and had black hair brushed back. And I think his name was.. Tony?" He shrugged.
"I'll just ask someone else.." Souvii interrupted, pointing behind him, before heading off the the leader camp tent.

Later, at the Leader Camp Tent..

Souvii arrived here, staring towards the tent, which had skulls as the entrance, and red fabric around the other sides. He tightened his fists before walking in the tent.

Souvii entered and spotted a lizard, brushed hair, skull shoulder guards and fabric clothing. Just the way the monsters explained. He stared at the monster. He could feel his heart beating faster. Souvii gulped, standing still.

"A-Are you.. Tony?" He stuttered, his cheeks slightly blushing.

"No.." The lizard replied, "But I am Toffee. Is there something you need?" He added, staring back at Souvii as he sat down. Raising an eyebrow.
