Caught Eyes

Between the Corn

They continued to walk straight, not minding anything moving around them; since there was only a long field of corn. Souvii kept his head down, still not saying a single word.

Toffee turned his eyes towards Souvii as he continued to walk on the path, "You seem worried, is anything the matter?" He then said in an emotionless and plain tone of voice, before looking back on the road.

Souvii looked up in a sudden as he heard Toffee speak. He rubbed the back of his neck, letting out a soft chuckle. "Y-Yeah I'm good.. How about you..?" Souvii replied, before realizing that he shouldn't have said that. His eye would widen as he looked back down again, embarrassed. Souvii closed his eye shut, hoping it wouldn't be a problem. 

He kept walking, ignoring it before bumping into something. Souvii then looked up, seeing that he bumped on Toffee's back. Toffee did not seem to care about it though.

Toffee turned his head, "Watch the road." He groaned before looking back forward and starting to walk again. Souvii watched him walk before losing focus and looking down at Toffee's ass. His cheeks would suddenly turn red as he stood up straight and feel hardness between his legs. Souvii flinched and would cover his bulge, and frowned awkwardly, starting to follow behind Toffee.

He then slowed down to walk beside Toffee, still blushing a bit. Souvii was silent and now looked up, avoiding to make contact with anything that is at the lower part of Toffee's body.

"By the way.." Toffee spoke in a sudden, staring into the distance, "I am fine." He added, still walking calmly. Souvii smiled at his answer, looking up at him, then down.

Souvii's eye widened once again, seeing Toffee's big bulge after looking down. His head turned red, as he looked to his side, his body starting to heat up. 

"F-Fuck.. Shit.. Did I just see his dick??" Souvii said in his mind, sweat starting to pour down on him. "N-No.. I probably didn't-- I should stop imagining things.. It makes me go crazy..!" He added, holding his head.

They continued walking, though Toffee was looking towards Souvii, seeming that he caught his attention. Toffee then groaned and would walk past Souvii, and stopping a few steps before him.
Souvii kept walking, and would bump onto Toffee's chest for not looking where he's supposed to.

His face was buried in Toffee's muscular torso. Souvii began to breathe heavily, before having his head pushed back by Toffee. "With this attitude, I think you're not up the task, are you now Souvii?" Toffee said afterwards, raising one brow.

Souvii looked up in embarrassment, unable to answer, still blushing hardly.
"Answer me." Toffee added, squinting his eyes.
Souvii was sweating, focused on Toffee's eyes. He was silent, having his head grasped by Toffee's hand. "T-Toffee I--" He stuttered, looking down to Toffee's buff body.

Toffee then sighed, letting go of Toffee. "Forget it, we must hurry. Or else we'll get there at night time with guards." He turn around, pausing there. Before starting to walk again.
Souvii looked at him, and would follow from behind.

After walking for minutes, they arrived close to the kingdom.
Toffee slowed down to a stop, crouching behind a boulder, peeking on the side. "There it is.. The Butterfly Kingdom." He smirked, staring at it. "For years.. I've been trying to take it down with my army.. But well.. They all are regenerating slowly." Toffee added, getting up, standing behind tall trees. He looked at Souvii. "But you, soldier. I believe that you will defeat her." He said as he placed his hands on his shoulders.

Souvii blushed, but then shook his head. "W-Wait.." He looked up at Toffee, "D-Defeat who? H-How long have you been alive? Regenerating?" Souvii began asking questions, confused. "What are we even doing now?" He added, looking down in dubiety. Souvii looked back up, looking concerned.

Toffee chuckled silently, looking down at Souvii. He smirked, "You are to kill Queen Comet." He answered, turning around and placing his hands on his back. "I have lived, for hundreds.. Maybe thousands of years." Toffee walked forward and slowing down to a stop. "And.. monsters like us never die." He added, looking up. "Have you ever tried to bite your arm off?" Toffee then asked, "We could try here." He smirked.

Souvii jumped, shaking his head, "N-No.. I'm fine.. I'll figure it out." He chuckled. Toffee looked at him in silence, before starting to walk away. He stood in the open, staring at the cornfield near the kingdom. "These are their cornfields.. Nutritious.. And golden. Their Queen; is protective.. And will be broken." Toffee added, walking towards the field.

Souvii shook, before chasing Toffee. "H-HEY-- MAYBE WE SHOULDN'T DO THAT." He shouted in a low volume, running to Toffee.

Toffee walked fearlessly. Souvii behind him, running.

Souvii would jump over to Toffee as he turned to him. They both dropped on the ground. Souvii was above Toffee, his hands placed on Toffee's arms, pinning him down and breathing heavily. Toffee looked at Souvii's eye in surprise, quietly breathing. Souvii looked up, seeing a knight patrolling on the kingdom's walls; though it wasn't that close to them.

Souvii acted quickly and would get up, pulling Toffee to the field, hiding behind the tall grass. Souvii leaned his back on the tall grass, waiting. He looked at Toffee, concerned. "Are you crazy? Walking towards a knight-protected area? In the open?!" Souvii grew worried.

Toffee grinned, looking down. "I knew you'd be a good one." He muttered, leaning his back on the tall grass as well. "Well soldier.. Now we hide between the corn." Toffee added, getting himself up, and would began to walk forward, crouched close to the ground.

Souvii looked at him, still confused. He scoffed and would follow from behind, crawling to hide himself.
