Its a Deal

Later that night..

Souvii was laying on a sleeping mat, staring at the tent's ceiling. He looked to the side, seeing his other group mates asleep, most of them were snoring. Souvii looked back up, taking a deep breath before pulling himself up. He sat on his mat and looked around the small tent. ". . ." He was silent and was too busy thinking about what he discussed with Toffee, reason why he was still awake at a time like this. Souvii shook his head and wiped dust off his shirt before getting up from his mat. He'd head outside afterwards.

He was at the camp in the middle of the night, but he was unsure of what time it was. Souvii sighed and stared up at the path that leads to the cornfield. He narrowed his eyes and was breathing slowly. "Alright.. While it's night.. Might as well.." Souvii whispered, proceeding deeper into the cornfield.

Meanwhile, at the cornfield in the middle of the night.

He'd walk through a path between two large fields of growing corns. Souvii swung his tail side to side as he silently walked on the dirt path. He got to the end of the field and looked to the side. Souvii walked towards it and hid himself behind the tall grass and the corns. He laid his back on the ground, staring up at the night sky. "Huh.. It's.. so calm." He whispered, and blinked once. Souvii slowly closed his eye, trying to rest.

He'd suddenly open his eye, and get up. Souvii found himself in a world where the ground was pink and soft, and everything around him was.. odd and made of sweets. Souvii tilted his head in confusion before hearing footsteps from the distance. He gasped and--

Souvii woke up, and sat up from his hiding spot. He continued to hear the approaching footsteps, and crouched, still hiding himself. He got closer to the edge and peeked a little, he saw two monsters walking down a different path, having a conversation, somehow Souvii wasn't noticed. Souvii then hid and braced himself.
"Okay Sou.. Y-You got this.. Just stay calm and tell them this isn't their property.." He peeked again, seeing that they haven't gotten far. "It's not that h-hard.." He whispered to himself.

Souvii slowly followed them from behind, hiding inside the field. He paid attention and was close enough to hear the conversation.

"It's not just that, Rasticore." Souvii heard a familiar voice. "The current queen has a daughter. Which then will be the next queen, when we take her down." The conversation continued.
"Well I ain't too sure about that, her daughter's still young, you know?" The other replied, it was Rasticore. Souvii was unsure of who Rasticore was having a conversation with, but it also looked like a monster.

"I gotta get closer..." Souvii whispered to himself, and he did.

The two stopped at a cliff, staring towards the Butterfly Kingdom. "Look at it.. It's.. so annoyingly beautiful. To break down into a million pieces." The being clenched his fist. Rasticore watched him.

"Hey Toff. You sure about this plan?" Rasticore asked.
"Yes. I am." Toffee turned to face Rasticore. "Are you questioning it?" He replied, seeming to be angered.
"N-No! I'm cool with it." He waved his hands around.

Souvii was in the background, watching them both.

"Besides," Toffee turned his head back to the castle. "I found our indestructible weapon." He added, letting his fist calm.
"Awesome!" Rasticore exclaimed. "Got his name?"
Toffee nodded, placing his hands on his back, "Souvii, I think."
Rasticore tapped his chin, thinking, "Is he new? I haven't heard of him yet.."
"No.." Toffee replied, "He was just ignored by the whole clan before. Now, he will be noticed." He added, staring at the castle. "And he will destroy that castle.." His eyes narrowed, before turning around, "We must head back, I have training with him tomorrow, and it's a serious one." Toffee said afterwards, and proceeding back to camp.
Rasticore got quite excited and followed, "Oh! Oh! C-Can I come and join the training?" He exclaimed as he raised an arm up. Toffee didn't seem to answer after he asked.

Souvii, still hiding, frowned in silence and watched them walk away. "Maybe I should head off, too." He whispered to himself, and did head off back to camp.

The sun rises hours later.

Souvii was still asleep, he seemed to have drooled while sleeping. His arms were everywhere on his bed. He snored and took him a few seconds before instantly getting up. He sat up on his mat and wiped his eye. "Hrnngh.." He grumbled, before saying, "What time is it..?" Souvii turned to his side, his group was no longer there, they seemed to have left the tent already. "Oh.. sHIT!" He instantly got up and ran outside. Souvii rushed to Toffee's tent and instantly opened the entrance. "T-TOFFEE--" He sees a table set up on the center with lit candles and two chairs for the both of them.

Toffee looked up at Souvii, holding a lit match. "Ah, Souvii, just in time." He smiled, shaking his hand with the match, putting it off. Toffee pulled himself up, and offered Souvii to take a seat. "Please, let's discuss our project." He says afterwards.

Souvii stared at him in silence before taking a seat, "S-Soo.." He held his hands together, tapping the table. "When are we gonna start training?" He asked. opening his hands.
"Now." Toffee replied, getting up from his chair and exiting the tent. Souvii stared at him before following him from behind.
"Guess I'll just, follow you then?" Souvii chuckled- and got stopped by Toffee.
"No, kid. You've failed the first test." He said calmly, "And before you interrupt me; I told you that the training started." Toffee added.
Souvii scratched his head, "Yeah.. And I followed..?" He replied.
"No, you were supposed to stay there because I have not instructed you yet." Toffee puts down his hand, "Now let's do that again. Shall we?" Toffee added, placing both his hands behind him.
Souvii nodded, "Yes, sir." Toffee headed back to his tent.
Souvii watched him walk away, and just stood there after Toffee entered. He was just standing at the center of the camp, waiting. ". . ." He looked around, and felt his shoulder being tapped, "hAHH-" He looked back, surprised. It was Toffee. "You were supposed to follow me that time." He said afterwards.
