Caught Eyes

Milady's Magic

Moon silently stared at the both of them, being empty handed. She looked fearless even though she was completely harmless. Moon closed her eyes as she took a deep breath. She exhaled and would look back at them, having a fierce look on their face.

"Monsters.." She muttered. Her voice was small and had a british accent. "I'll take you all down with my might.. And I'll do it for my mother.. No.. My family..! And for my kingdom!" Moon added, speaking to two unconcious monsters. Even though one of them weren't.

Moon sighed, before turning around and holding the door knob. She waited silently.

Souvii then pulled his head up and would look at Moon, "W-Wait.." He spoke in a sudden, stopping her from leaving. "I have something to say.." Souvii added, while examining the young girl.

Moon turned around to face Souvii, she looked suspicious. "Did you think your innocent words will work on me?" Moon answered, letting go of the door.

"N-No.." Souvii replied, looking down. "It's just.. Not all monsters are evil.. There's ones there in Mewni who.. Want peace, too." He said with a soft tone of voice. "L-Like me.. I don't want to fight any of you.. I just want to start a family.." Souvii continued his speech.

Moon looked at him, very confused. "A.. A family??" She then asked, very confused, "With a Mewman?" Moon added, looking weirdly concerned.

Souvii flinched, shaking his head, "N-No! Not a mewman!" He shouted, "W-Wi.. with.." Souvii stuttered, looking down again. "With Toffee." He added, looking towards Toffee.

Moon was still confused, she turned towards Toffee, "Toffee? This.. Is Toffee, correct?" She questioned. "He's.. a guy??" Moon added, making gestures with her hands.

"Dh- I-I know that!" Souvii interrupted, shaking his hands. He inhaled in frustration. "I know that.." Souvii repeated in a calmer tone. "It's just that.. I am gay." He added, looking down in embarrassment.

Moon looked disgusted, "Dear.. That is sickening me." She then said with an uncomfortable tone of voice, holding her hands close to her chest.

Souvii sighed, groaning in discomfort. He tried pulling his arms off again, looking down, "Please just- just set me free and we won't set eyes on each other again.." Souvii begged, his voice quiet and shaking. "I promise.." He added, sliding his feet closer to him.

Moon looked down at him in silence. She held one hand close to her mouth as she bit her lip, confused and unsure of what to do as Princess of the Butterfly Kingdom. "Mmm--" She groaned quietly, tapping her chin as her eyes looked around the room.

"..Maybe I can help??" Moon then said, her voice shrinking as she asked. The room went silent as she did.

Later...

The dungeon both Toffee and Souvii were locked in was silent. Toffee still unconscious. Souvii getting uncomfortable with his hands up for long minutes.

The silence was cruel, before the room being entered by a knight and the young girl Souvii met earlier; Moon. The knight held keys in his hands, walking over to Souvii calmly.

The knight paused there, before looking back at Moon, "Milady, last call. Are you sure about this?" He asked politely, placing both hands behind him.

"Yes." Moon replied with a nod, "I am very sure with my decision." She added, having a serious look on her face.

"Alright then." The knight said, holding the keys out and freeing Souvii's hands from the wall.

Souvii pulled his hands down as soon as it was freed. He closed and opened his hands, looking at them in silence. He took a deep breathe before cracking his knuckles. He looked up at Moon, "M-Milady.." He stuttered as he turned his head towards the knight, "T-Thank you.." Souvii added, smiling.

Moon sighed as the knight walked out of the room, leaving with the keys. "Let's get you fixed." She whispered, before inviting Souvii out of the room.

They then got outside, longs halls on both sides, and walls of strong bricks collide. Moon would gently close the door, locking it and heading off to her room. She paused and would look back at Souvii. "Quickly." She whispered before proceeding to walk.

Souvii looked back at the door, then back at Moon. He nodded quietly and would begin to follow the princess.

Later, they both arrived in a room..

Inside the room was bright and clean. The furniture were polished and made of wood. A few windows around the room. The large bed at the center of the room, folded curtains around it. Two desks placed at the sides of the bed, containing picture frames and candles on metal plates. And a closet at the corner of the room.

Moon closed the door behind her as Souvii entered. She sighed, "I suppose we both haven't been properly introduced. I am Moon Butterfly. I'm a princess." Moon offered a handshake.

Souvii reached out his hand, grabbing Moon's hand and shaking it gently. "Souvii Clawchester. It's.. feels good to meet you." He replied, smiling. "Which reminds me.. Why are you so nice to me?" Souvii then asked, scratching his head in confusion.

Moon placed her hands behind her. "I have discussed this subject with my mother, the Queen. You will be my servant. You're going to wear fancy clothing and follow my demands." She said it straight. Moon didn't look like she was joking.

Souvii was more confused, before just nodding quietly, "Is there.. an exchange? After we get over with this?" He asked, his voice soft. He waited for an answer, looking behind him and grabbing a seat. Souvii pulled it closer to him and would sit down.

Moon would pause, thinking in silence, before deciding to say, "Yes. There is." Moon would let out her answer. "And that is.. Magic. Both you and.. Toffee, was it?" She added, tilting her head, unsure.

"Yes, its Toffee." Souvii smiled as he replied. "So.. When will this servant thing end?" He then asked, looking up at Moon

"As soon as the wand is passed down to me. Which is when I will use magic to give you something that- might attract Toffee." She sounded unsure, yet Souvii still trusted her.

Souvii got up, "Deal." He looked brave, smirking.

Moon would nod back to Souvii, she looked at him with no interest. "Deal."

They both reached out their arms, before making a handshake.

"Milady's Magic, here I come." Souvii thought to himself, his eye flaring in courage.
