Faint lights seeping through the curtains into the darkroom, with the pitter-patter sounds from the rain coming from outside. A twitch came from the bundle on the bed as the alarm on the nightstand blared up. A hand slowly reached up to turn it off in a hasted pace, dropped and dangled off the edge of the bed. The owner of the hand turned to the side and watched the numbers changed on the alarm, blinking gently trying to get the sleepy feeling away.
Shuffling around and propping herself up on her elbows, gravity pulling her hair down making them fall in front of her face. Blowing the strands away while walking to her closet, taking the uniform off the hanger before carelessly throwing them on the bed before walking into the bathroom.

The towel on her head holding her short hair in place. Some slipping out and fell on her face. She ties the ribbon of her uniform while looking around the dark sunlight lit room, everything seemed to be in place. But...
Why does it feel odd?
Why does it feel like everything is falling out of its place?
Was paranoia getting to her?
Shaking her head trying to clear her head, the towel on her head fell down into a neat pile around her. The throbbing in her head was annoying her. Coming back to reality and blinking in surprise, she turned around and bend lightly to pick up the fallen towel, cold tips of her hair traced down her cheek wetting it slightly, sending chills down her spine. Throwing the towel by a chair nearby, picking up her bag and walked out of her room. Not bothering for a proper breakfast, but optioned for a toast anyway. Then out the house, not forgetting to lock the door. Opening an umbrella to protect herself from the rain.
'Where is she?' Kisaki glanced around her, not seeing a trace of her friend. 'Did she went without me?' An alert came from her phone, answering her unspoken question, bringing the phone up to her face.
"I'm at the station", the text said.
Walking towards the station. Kisaki looked at the blonde in front of her, the blonde too stared back at her. The unnerving silence loomed over them as bystanders walked passed by, looking at them or quickly rushed pass them tensing up.
("Look at them, so scared", the voice giggled. She turned away; ignoring it).
'Was the tension too obvious?'
Kisaki opened her mouth to voice out her thoughts, "Did you not wait for me?"
"I forgot". Mimi said pursing her lips, "I didn't mean to".
"Don't mind". Kisaki sleepily hummed as she glanced up to the display, "The train's here. Let's go".
The train ride was in silence as the sun slowly rises up as minutes passed by. Blinking sleepily Mimi looked out the window behind her to see the dimly lit city. The sight always manages to fascinate her no matter how many times she saw it. Switching her gaze to her friend was checking and tapping through her phone, she only assumed that she was texting her cousin or some other friends. If she made some other than the people in our circle that is'. Turning her gaze away again unable to focus on one thing as they wander around,
"...", she managed to hear bits of pieces what her friend was mumbling about. "Yumi-chan...". Before Kisaki completely shuts off her phone, hands then fell on her lap letting out a soft sigh. Leaning over, elbow on her thigh, massaging at the bridge of her nose.
"Stressed?" Mimi asked. Kisaki meekly peaked up at her, uneasily.
"No...?"
"We should go, it's our stop". Mimi continues as she stood up looking down at Kisaki. "Let's go?"
