Chapter 19

Krism's POV

I was the first one to get to them, Two men and a woman were knocked out unconsious, but behind them was another woman, with long brown hair and a doctors white lab coat.

"Pixel?" I presumed, "Doctor Pixel?"

She looked up at me, her eyes glazed over.

"Who.. Who are you?" Pixel asked sleepily.

"Im a friend of Minx's" I said, "we're here to get you out of here."

"Yes, but- here." She begins, and she lifts up her jacket, revealing two babies who were silenently sobbing.

She passes them to me;

"Get them out of here first.."

"Ok," I say looking into the babies sparkling eyes, but come with me."

"I.. I can't, my.. My leg." Pixel grunts as she tries to lift it up. Its bent at an unnatural angle, and I doubt she can walk.

"Yami!" I call, and he runs up to us;

"Get some help!"

He nodds, and runs out the room.

"You need to go," Gasps the doctor, choking on the polluted air.

"I'm not leaving you behind, anybody who is a friend of Minx, is a friend of mine, and no friend will ever be left behind."

Minx's POV

Mark is holding me under my arms, his grip is unbreakable, and the only thing keeping me knelt up, as I sob into my chest.

My head shoots up, as Mark shouts Yami's name.

He bounds over to us, and hunches over, and then I realise- he's alone.

Hy heartbeat picks up, and I start to hyperventilate.

"Where,s Krism!?" I yell, my voice ripping my vocal cords.

"It's Ok-" He pants, "She's ok, We've found everyone, bit we need help getting them out."

"Who do you need?" Mark say's, taking control.

"Up to Minx," He say's, and everyone looks to me.

I stand, and brush myself off, Mark doesnt loosen his grip, In fact; It seems to get tighter, he's nervous, a state I've never seen him in before. I scan the crowd.

"Dlive, Chilled, Russ and Mark, go and help."

"No!" Yami almost scream's, "Not Mark!"

"But Aaron-" Mark begins.

"No, you're staying here, Im not going to let you in there."

"Mark will stay, the rest go;" I order, and Yami gives me a nod of thanks, then blows Mark a kiss, before running back into the Inferno, followed by my friends.

I hope I've made the right choice.
