Chapter 20

Krism's POV

After a short while, Pixel an I hear aproaching footsteps. Yamimash was the first to arrive, followed by Dlive, Chilled and Russ.

"What sould we do?" Asked Dlive, in his usually calm voice.

"Yami, grab Pixel; Dlive, Russ, Chilled- grab a patient each." I command, and each of the boys do as they are told.

"Now lets get outta here!" I yell, and we all to sprint towards the exit.

As we leave the room, we begin to hear creaks and cracks coming from above.

"Its gonna colapse!" Chilled screams from the back.

And indeed it does, rubble behing to fall from the ceiling, and we do well to avoid them, I clutch onto the babies in my arms.

God help us.

Through the smoke I can see the exit, we cant be more than fifteen feet away; then suddenly, a massive crack errupts from the ceiling, and I turn to see Chilled and one of the patients colapse beneith the rubble.

I stare into Yami's eyes; his eyes are beginning to well up as the house is colapsing all around us.

Another crack, then Dlive dissapears underneith a giant roofbeam.

"Telk Mark I love him." Yami asks, and he throws me outside the building.

I roll across the snow, and am freatfull for the coolness that it posessey, opposed ti the swelterung heat inside. Solemly; kneel up, only to see the house colapsing behind me.

"Aaron!" Comes a blood-curdling scream, and Mark tries to run towards the destroyed clinic, but Ohm tackles him into the snow, before the house seems to explode, sending a huge 'Boom' throughought the city.

The crowd melts around us, as they get closer to the rubble, leaving only Minx knelt on the ground; her tear staned eyes staribg blankley as to where Pixels clinic ones stood.

I brush snow of the babies heads, and pass them to Cry, who happened to be stood close to me, before I run up to Minx, I instantly wrap my arms abound her, and she tucks her head into my chest and sobbing uncontrolably.

We sit there, rocking back and forth, the whole crowd is silent, apart from the wails of Minx and Mark, listening to the fire crackle and pop; leaving us remanising about the comrades that we have just lost.
