Chapter 22

Cry's POV

Ohm ran over to me, leaping over mounds of rubble to get to me.

"What is it?" He panted, and I showed him the two babies that Krism dumped on me earlier.

"Who are they?" He asks, brushing dust from his shoulders.

"Well," I start, "Ones a boy and ones a girl, Unrelated. All of their parents died in that house."

Ohm nod's sadly.

I pass the male child to Ohm, he looks at me in confusion.

"For me?" He says, backing away a few steps, "I- I could'nt-"

"Nott for you stupid. We are masked men, we dont have kids."

"Then wh-"

"Mark, He needs something to hold on to, he'll have nothing to live for otherwise."

"Good plan." Ohm smiles, "who is the girl for then?"

"You'll see." I half-smile. Ohm begins to walk away, but stops, and comes back.

"Sup?'"

"I- I found these before, I would of thought you'd want 'em."

He hands me a pair of twisted and melted glasses.

Russ's glasses

I quickley take them off him before leavinv him.

I let out a silent tear, and look down at the baby girl I have cradled in my arms.

"You're Uncle Russ would've loved you baby girl." I tell the child, looking into her topaz-blue eyes.

"He would of made you laugh, with his stupid antics, well he made me.." I drifted off into fond memories of Russ and I.

"Why did you have to fuckin' leave me Russ, Why?" I cry under my breath, thankfull for the mask, that hid the tears thet poured from my eyes.

But I have to stay strong, Russ would of wanted me to.

I hold the baby closer to my chest. Her tiny ears listening to the faint thumps of my heartbeat.

"I'll protect you baby girl, you're Uncle Cry, I'll tell you stories of Uncle Russ's and I's adventures, teach you a bit of Magic mabie, but for now, let's meet you're new parents, yeah?"

Just want to thank you all for understanding about having the past two days off, Its given me time to think about the story and get some new Ideas, and now I'm back and better than ever!
