The boy looked up and gave a small smile. He dusted off his hands and approached me a bit.

"Hi, I'm Luke." He said reaching out a hand for me to shake. Who knew people my age still shook hands? I shook it though, and smiled.

"I live right here." I said pointing to my house. "Maybe you could show me around sometime." I proposed. I don't know why I was flirting, but I was and it felt damn good. A light blush covered his cheeks and he rubbed at the back of his neck.

"Yeah, I could do that if you want me to. I wouldn't mind." He said shyly. Something about the boy just made me want to hug him for hours. He was so cute.

"Thanks, Luke. Just come get me whenever. It'll be fun." With that I began up my driveway with a small wave over my shoulder. What was I thinking? This boy probably didn't want to hang out with me. He didn't even know me. I was so stupid. I walked back into our new house and sighed, setting the pizza on the counter. Mom came into the kitchen and smiled.

"Hi dear, how was your walk?" She asked lightly. I gave a weak smile in return.

"It was good. I met the neighbor. He's gonna show me around town later." I replied. Mom gave me a suggestive smirk.

"Oooooh! Is he cute?" She aske, nudging me shoulder.

I rolled my eyes

"Yeah, he's cute, but I don't even know him." I replied. Mom smiled.

"Whatever you say. I won't stick around when he comes to pick you up." She said with a wink. She could be so obnoxious sometimes. I took a slice of pizza up to my newly unpacked room with me, and set it on my desk. I wanted to change into something a little more attractive, but I figured that would be a bit odd since he'd just seen what I was wearing. I settled for ajusting my hair and putting on a bit of make up. A while later there was a knock at the door, and I scrabled down the stairs praying my mother wouldn't answer it. I slid across the floor to the door and calmed myself a bit before opening it. I looked up to see a certain blonde boy standing there.

"Hi" He said shyly. He really was beautiful.
