One fine day (Camren)

Chapter 17 - Why?

Lauren run back to the gym. She get her things and run out without saying goodbye to Vero and Dinah who are still lying on the floor.

"What's with her?!" Dinah tried to get up with her shoulder and look at Vero.

"I don't know. Damn! Lauren runs so fast. What is it that she saw outside? Hmmm I am so curious right now. Come on DJ! Let's check it out" Vero stand up and help Dinah to stand as well.

"Ok so Lauren went here... Let's trace it out... Ok here... " They are tracing Lauren's foot step since it's kinda muddy then Dinah and Vero heard a boy and a girl laughing and giggling.

Vero and Dinah look at each other and silently peek at the back to see who are those..

Both of them were shocked at what they are seeing. They both saw Shawn and Camila cuddling and hugging each other.

"Damn!" Dinah snapped.

Vero pull Dinah and put a cover on Dinah's mouth. She signalled a silent sign and peek again.

"OMG!" Vero whispered and can't believe what she is seeing.

Both of them looked at each other and went back. They both understand now why Lauren is in a hurry to go out and run away from this place.

"This is... Oh no we need to go to Lauren... what are we going to do??? No maybe give her some time and space? Vero what now?" Dinah asked Vero... Slightly panicking and concern for their friend.

"I... I don't know DJ. But do you think it's too early to think? Maybe they were just talking... I know they are best friends... But... I don't know..."
Vero can't think as well as this is a fresh scene that both of them are also in shock.

"Let's just go home. Lauren needs us" Vero decided to go home for Lauren.

Camila's POV

Shawn and Camila pull away from their hug

"Thank you Shawn. I just need to let it out. And that Brad guy really gets into my nerve.. how dare him ask me to help him so he can have Lauren." Camila shaking her head.

"I know, Mila. Well I can see how you like her so I am happy for you. And don't worry about that Brad. He won't win to you because I can see that Lauren likes you the way you likes her." Shawn assured her of this.

"So, Mila let's go... Someone might see us here and might thought we are a couple hiding to make out" Shawn jokes. Not knowing that some people already saw them that way.

"Haha! Anyway let's go..." Camila follows Shawn going back to the building.

While going back... She remembered that Lauren texted her. She already knew it was Lauren because of the tone. When she reads it... She laugh but then she felt something but she set it aside... So she replied.

Camila: Haha... Anyway back in the day... I also thought he was gay.. but no he is not :)

Camila: How are you by the way? Are you tired? If you are then just rest ok. And take care.

Camila: I was wondering... Why do you say he has a girlfriend?

Camila: hmm ok I think you are already sleeping. Sweet dreams xoxo

Lauren's POV

Once she got back to their apartment, Lauren went straight to her room. She is hurting. This is what she is afraid of. She is scared of hurting. She experienced it before. The scene she saw keeps on popping in her head. The hug, Camila's face on Shawn's chest. Shawn's embrace to Camila. Lauren is hurting. She is questioning herself.
