Chapter 16 - Jealousy

Two more days before Friday.

Wednesday:

The trio (Lauren, Dinah, Vero) are working hard on their practice in Volleyball. Lauren being most of the time who set the plays, she began spiking the ball. It seems she is in hype. She jumps so high that Dinah was amazed and she can also blocks.

Lauren was in deep thought when she is not playing for her to keep her mind busy she focus on playing volleyball. Even when the practice is over, she will still stay to play.

Dinah and Vero seems to notice that something is off with her. So when Lauren decided to stay after their practice, both of them stayed too.

"Lauren, all of a sudden. Why?" Vero asked her holding the ball beside her waist with her arms.

"Yeah, Lauren what's up with you? Do you want to be the MVP? Just let us know, you don't have to work hard like this. We can give you the spotlight, you know" Dinah jokes a bit so Lauren can relax.

"Well, I just wanted some distractions. I don't want to think. I just wanted to keep myself busy." Lauren told them what she's actually feeling.

"Think about what?" Vero asked her curiously.

"Don't tell me its about Mila?" Dinah butt in.

Lauren just nod and looked down.

"Why Lauren, what's wrong? I don't see anything wrong between the two of you." Dinah continues.

"And from what I know you two even watched a movie, did something happened?" Vero sit down and throw the ball she's holding to Dinah.

Dinah catches the ball and put her arms around Lauren and lead her to sit down in the middle of the court/gym. "Come on Lauren, let's sit down and we'll listen."

So Lauren told the two about what happened the time where someone notice them making out in the movie house.

"It seems Camila, is not use to those kind of things. I mean she's not use to be called names.. you know guys, I experienced that before when I was with Keana.. I got hurt a lot but my love for her is stronger than that so I was able to get used to it and won't bother to what others might say. I am kinda wondering what if Camz can't handle it and just walk away.... I can't do it... I don't want to experience it again. If Camila will just leave me because of that... I think I need to stop this what I am feeling before it gets deeper. I am afraid I won't be able to handle it anymore... I almost kill myself when Keana left me... And if my feelings for Camila gets deeper and deeper I might kill myself without a doubt if she ever leave me" Lauren confess.

"Also, I don't even know if we have the same feelings for each other.. I can feel she likes me but how deep? Maybe... Maybe she's just confused right now. Maybe one day she'll wake up thinking that this is wrong. Maybe she was just overwhelmed of her feelings towards me... You know maybe..." Lauren continues and was cut off by Vero.

"Or maybe Lauren you are exaggerating and overthinking" Vero hold her both side arms and shakes her a bit.

"Lauren, don't do this to yourself. It will be better if you two will talk. And please don't just make out... You guys can do that after you talk. Okay?" Dinah hugs Lauren and smirk.

Camila's POV

Reading her text messages

Lauren: I won't be able to join you after class. On our free time, I will go to the gym for practice. We have games this coming weeks so we need to practice more.

Camila: It's ok. Lolo. I also have rehearsals today till Thurs so see you on Friday :)

Even if I really don't have rehearsals. Why am I lying to her? What is she up to? Is she ignoring me?.. no she said we'll meet on Friday so I will look forward to it.
