The side of his face was currently being supported by his hand, the same arm's elbow being propped up on the counter. His eyes were focused on the cereal that was swimming in milk, the food still remaining untouched as he hadn't even bothered eating.

“Hyung, if you're not going to eat, at least don't waste the food,” said Jimin. He had arrived about half an hour ago, stating that he had some news he wanted to share with the older. Yet... he still hasn't gotten to the point.

The two have been friends for quite awhile; ever since middle school, actually. They've both been through their ups and downs, and they've always made sure to have each other's backs no matter what. While Yoongi grew to be... somewhat reclusive and rather introverted, Jimin was the opposite. He was really outgoing and socialized often, and you could definitely say he was a people's person. Despite their differences, the two remained great friends throughout the years. Jimin was one of the only people Yoongi was close to and let in, and he certainly understands him the best.

There has been a few occasions in which Jimin has offered Yoongi money, seeing as he usually falls behind on rent and often lacks money in general. But Yoongi always refuses— he doesn't want to cause any problems, and certainly doesn't to just take, as he knows he probably wouldn't be able to pay it back swiftly. Of course, Jimin being who is, says that that wouldn't be a problem. Still, Yoon prefers not to borrow money from the other.

“By the way, about the news...

A friend of mine is really in need of a photographer for a shoot they're gonna have— apparently it's for some huge celebrity so it's really important, but he's down on numbers for photographers because of some sort of press conference. Anyway, I showed him some of your work and he said you're really good.

So, uh.... I kind of told him you were looking for a job and... he said if you're free, you could come by today and talk some things out...”

The dark-haired boy blinked twice, processing the information the other had just given him. He's not upset with him— far from it, really. He is sort of in need of a job considering his current doesn't pay him nearly enough. But it's just so sudden, and he doesn't know if he'd even have the time today. Plus.... he hasn't exactly been feeling too well. Not as in i'm-coming-down-with-the-flu or anything, but his mental health hasn't been too good lately.

Letting go of the spoon he was fiddling with, he focused his gaze onto the younger male.

“Jiminie, I don't know... it is kind of sudden. And I wouldn't know what to expect of it..”

“C'mon, hyung. At least give it a shot. This is your chance to put that photography to use and not keep it hidden. And if that doesn't seem like enough... the money is pretty good.”

Yoongi raised a brow, the mention of money catching his interest.

“..... How much?”

Jimin had parted his lips to say something, but paused briefly to take a moment to try and recall the amount.

“Ah, it is just this one job, but he said about $2,000 for the shoot.”

Thank God Yoongi wasn't eating his cereal, otherwise he would have choked on it.

“Did he say what time I could go by..?”

“He said anything before twelve in the afternoon works...”

Current time: 10:36 AM.

“Oh— give me some to get ready and we'll head there after, yeah..?”
