The next day, Oliver frantically flipped through his cook book, searching for a good enough recipe to cook for Cooper. He was standing by the counter of the shop, taking advantage of the little free time he had.

What the hell should I cook?

He mentally yelled in his head, thinking about all the fancy meals Cooper probably ate on the daily. What if he cooked something and Cooper didn't actually like it? Would he just pretend to like it? Force himself to eat it? What if it made him sick? Is he allergic to anything? Why didn't he ask before?

Oliver quickly grabbed his phone and sent a text to Cooper. He got a response almost immediately.

He sighed in relief, no allergies

He sighed in relief, no allergies.

Lavender's head poked out from the front of the counter, her light blue eyes staring at him curiously.

"Whatcha doing?"she quipped.

"Looking for something good to cook,"Oliver replied, his scanning a good looking quiche recipe. He frowned as he realized it had mushrooms in it.

"Ooh what about something fancy? What's fancy food?"

Oliver shrugged,"I dunno, french food?"

He paused. Then closed his book excitedly.

"Of course! Why didn't I think of it before? French food!"

The little bell chimed, and he greeted his customer, now a bit more relaxed at having an idea of what to cook.

Cooper sat at his desk scanning a billion documents in front of him. Most of them business partnership inquiries that he honestly had no interest in. His computer however, had more interesting things for him to read about...

His office door opened and Lucy, his assistant, popped her head in.

Her red lips formed a smile,"Cooper-"

"Mr. Giles, Lucy. I can't keep reminding you."

She frowned, but immediately replaced it with another smile."Mr. Giles, your father has decided to have a brunch meeting with you today. I've already added that to your schedule, you had nothing planned."

Cooper mentally sighed, he actually wanted to stop by the shop to see Oliver and Lavender for a quick coffee. He nodded nonetheless."Okay, thank you."

She sat on the corner of his desk, her black pencil skirt riding up slightly. Cooper looked up from a business letter with a raised eyebrow."Was there something else?"

She shrugged, her long eyelashes batting over her black eyes."I don't know, you seem weird lately."

"Well I've been busy Lucy, you should know, you organize my schedule."
