- 3 MONTHS LATER -

- Aidan's POV -

- HOME, Thursday, 6:30 AM -

I was awaken by the bright light shining on my face, along with the loud noises of the alarm.

Snoozing the alarm, I lazily stand up and stumbled my way across the shower.

Basically, it's another typical day.

I have written yet another letter for her.

The past months have been great.

She really likes the letters.

I turn on the shower, looking at the temperature setting of the water.

It's already winter after all, so it's very cold.

- 7:00 AM -

After cleaning, I get out of the shower to get dressed.

Now that it's cold, I choose some thick clothes.

I put on a long sleeve shirt with a knee length coat and some jeans with a pair of brown boots and a scarf around my neck.

I exit the room and make my way downstairs.

Mother, in the kitchen, sees me and smiles faintly.

"Good morning, Aidan. Looks like you dress really well recently."

She chuckled as she stirs food inside a pot.

I grin as I walk to our usual table.

She places the bowls, followed by the soup.

I take a closer look at what she cooked for breakfast.

Now, she cooked Minestrone soup.

To me, it's the perfect breakfast for a cold winter day.

I take a spoonful and I bite it.

Immediately, I am contented.

After eating, I said goodbye to her as I leave.

When I got outside, the extremely cold breeze hits me.

I shivered, feeling like I was about to freeze.

I walked slowly to school.

- SCHOOL, 7:30 AM -

When I arrived at school, I instantly went inside.

I couldn't handle the freezing sensation.

Going inside, I see that all of the students are here in the lobby.

Slightly intimidated, I waited for something to happen.

I didn't notice that Parker was beside me.

"Hey, Aidan." He greets, giving me his usual smile.

"Hey, do you know what's going on here?" I ask, placing my hands onto my hips.

He just shrugs.

On the stage, comes out the principal, Mrs. Miller.

I have to admit, she can be pretty scary.

She comes to the microphone.

"Good day students." She starts.

"Today, I will announce to you a special event coming this month. Our alma mater does this annually and it remembers its golden days. In 7 days, a specific time will come." She suddenly stops, leaving all of us confused.
