Spike: wake up!

Spike: WAAAAAAKE UP!

Me: five in the morning, two hours before my alarm. Better have a good reason.

I sat up my bed sheet and covers falling to my waist. As I wait for his reply. I can't believe he woke me up on a Friday morning I have a test for forensic and a test for science today. Then I have a project to do for health Monday.

Spike: I just wanted to talk to my precious.

Me; couldn't that have waited till I woke up. You know I have an x amount of minute bus ride to campus.

Spike: I know I just miss you.

Me: we have been hanging out all week. And you miss me now? You're cute.

Spike: I know! I just can't help it. I must tell you that darkest secret. I think you're ready.

Me: Okay, on Saturday I'll meet you at the cafe at 6:40 pm.

Spike: okay. Don't be afraid when you find out.

I place my phone at 5:35 am. Maybe I can get the rest of my sleep in. I laid down and closed my eyes, for that sleep I need. About to doze off and my phone buzzes again. I slam my hand down and grab my phone.

Spike; sorry, I'm disturbing again. I don't know I can't help it. I miss you.

I stared at the screen debating to reply back. I yawned and place my phone "He will be fine." I say as I close my eyes once again for that much-needed sleep. I fell asleep this time without any interruptions.

*7 am*

I woke up to my alarm and about twenty texts from spike.

Me; I fell back to sleep. I'm up now.

Spike: good! I'm sorry.

Me: it's okay. It was cute. I'm just not used to be woken up at 5 if I don't have to be.

I place my phone down while it's still on charge. Technically today is basically a free day but if we want to do the test today we can and most of us choose to. So I'm gonna shower and show up to college around 9 for the forensic test and then do the science test at 9:55. I go into the bathroom and fix my water to my likings. I take me a shower and get out at 7:40. I never realize how much a shower could wake you up but also relax you.

I go down and fix me breakfast. Mom's day off so she must be asleep. She gets Friday's Saturday's and Sunday's off. I had me a plate of eggs bacon and toast. I sat down at the table and ate my food. I grabbed my phone and keys and left for the bus stop. I checked my phone, 8:15. I yawned as the bus pulled up, I paid and sat in the front today.

*at college*

I was sitting in an empty classroom with only about me and three others. I did my forensics test and finished around 9:25. Gave me time to study for science. Everyone left, cause they only had one test. I don't know I am slightly distracted and can't concentrate on studying. I look at my phone and the time again, 9:31. I place my stuff down and got the science test. I did that and finished twenty minutes afterward.

I groaned "probably just failed that" I mumbled under my breath as I walked down the sidewalk of campus down to the bus stop.

*6:20 pm*

I was ready to meet spike at the cafe to find out his darkest secret. I was fretting rather it was good or bad. I mean it could be both, but if it is both. Then what do I do? Or what do I say? I was walking out the house making sure the doors were locked. As I was walking I kept watching my feet on the sidewalk, the sun going down as I walked. People passed on their own mind, and I'm over here looking and feeling like I'm doing volunteer work at a science fair. I never have done one of those.

I made it just on our time we agreed on. Spike was waiting by the door. I walked in and he motioned for me to follow. So, I did I followed him to his office. He closed the door and he nervously bites his lip. "Okay. Are you sure your ready?" He asked, "yes I'm pretty sure." I say as I stand there looking at spike. He runs his hands over his button-down shirt, smoothing out the wrinkles. "Okay, my darkest secrete is..." he pauses as he swallows "I'm a vampire.." he looks at me.

I stand there baffled and confused "vampire? As in the blood sucking, human turning, vampire?" He stared at me "yeah, wouldn't have gone into all that. But yeah." I stand there astonished by the news. I don't know what I wanna say. Can't say it's either good nor bad nor can I say both. "But you've been out in the sun for so many hours. Aren't vampires suppose to you know vaporize?" I asked "some do. But some like me can stand in the sun for 24/7 and nothing will happen. Say if I was to turn you. Same thing nothing" I nod slowly.

I pondered the whole ordeal. Spike is nice, he is respectful unlike what I heard about some vampires, he is protective but reasonable, he is very charming, polite, down to earth. I looked at him. As he nervously waits for my response. "Ima need till at least Sunday to tell you rather not I'm okay with it or not. Don't worry too much." I said "okay, very well. Let me walk you home." I nod.

Once we got to my house we said our byes and I went inside. This is some interesting news. Don't know how I should take it. I mean like I listed off, he is nice and all that. Anyone would be glad to have him. I laid on my bed staring up at my ceiling. Until my eyes started falling and I fell asleep.
