I'm back on this story.

Enjoy!

I am walking to the cafe. It's closed today but spike said he was there doing calculations. I arrived moments later and he let me in. "I'm so glad to see you, Nova." Spike smiled as he led me to his office. "I have made my decision. It doesn't matter if your a vampire, werewolf, any supernatural being. You've made me feel so much happier and relaxed. And I never felt that way before." I said as I smile and watched his face lit up.

Ever seen a seven-year-old go into a candy store? Well, this is Spike, "OH MY GOSH YES! YAY!" After the brief excitement, he calmed down. He looked embarrassed for doing that but he didn't do anything. "Okay, I would like to take you out next Saturday at 8 if that's okay?" Spike asked I smiled warmly at the happy vampire "that's perfectly fine." He grinned.

I let him be to do what he needed to do. I left and headed towards home. As I was walking I caught a glimpse of a black Toyota SUV drive by. The only people I know that drives those brand cars are my ex family. I gritted my teeth and rushed home. I am not finding out who that actually is. It could've been just some other person with same make and model SUV. I locked the back door and front door.

Me: well I think I just saw one of my ex's family car.

Spike: great, did they do anything?

Me: no. I rushed home.

Spike; good please let me know if anything else happens.

I told him I would. I rechecked my college work, made sure everything was in order for tomorrow. I kept fretting over the car. Like who was it actually? I groaned as I set aside my book bag next to my door. I grabbed me some pajamas and went and showered. Maybe a shower will relax me and settle my anxious mind. After being in the shower for nearly two hours, I have calmed down slightly. I dried off and got dressed.

Mom: tomorrow I'm having company. So have the house cleaned, please. Thank you.

Me: okay.

I set down my phone. I cleaned the kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Each got either vacuumed, swept, mopped, dusted. I finished by 7:45 pm and I heard car tires squeal as someone stopped quickly. I peeked outside and there's an SUV parked on the road. I can't tell what color due to no lights. But I simply stepped away from the window and slowly made my way to the doors. I checked to see if it's locked and the alarm system was set and ready.

We have it on everything. Windows and doors and our porch light come on when someone's on our driveway and porch. Windows and doors were secured. I paled at thought of my ex harassing me for no reason. I had the living room lights off, the kitchen light off except for the one over the stove, and all bedrooms as well light off. I got a good view from my bedroom of the driveway and road.

The SUV was still there. I grabbed my phone. I checked the time. 8:20 pm and they are still here. I sent a text to spike saying I think it's my ex-family here at my house. And how long they been here. He replied back to be there in a flash. I heard yelling after ten minutes from the text. I peeked out and the car raced off and spike stood there under the porch light. I run down and opened the door. He smiled "everything is okay. I promise." He said hugging me as he let me go back inside.

He stayed for two hours just to make sure they didn't come back. After it seemed like they weren't, he gave me a hug and kiss on the cheek goodbye. I fell asleep from the exhausting events.
