Ethan's P.O.V

This date was going really well. Me and Stevie are just having a great time and she loves pancakes as much as I do, which is a bonus. She is just such an amazing girl and I'm definitely falling for her. On another note, these pancakes are just as great as they used to be. I really don't regret coming here, if it wasn't for y/n I wouldn't be here, she is such a good friend.

Me and Stevie were just talking about the most random stuff and I felt so comfortable around her. Little do I know my night was about to be ruined. Sydney just walked in. How does she manage to be wherever I am all the time!? I wish she didn't see me but she did. She walked up to me.

Sydney: "oh hey Ethan! What a surprise, we just keep on bumping into each other."

Ethan: "take a hint Sydney! I'm not into you, I never was and I never will be."

Sydney: "and who's this? You better not be dating this piece of trash because that just wouldn't be fair on me."

Sydney let out a laugh.

Ethan: "you know what? She isn't trash, she is beautiful and way better than you will ever be. Sydney, I don't have to deal with your shit, so you can stop you can stop it right there and turn around and walk right back out those doors."

Sydney: "Ethan, you can stop playing hard to get, I like you too. You know, you're pretty lucky because guys ask me out all the time and I say no, but I'm asking you out. I know you'll say yes so let's just go."

Ethan: "get the fuck out of here Sydney! For the last time, I don't want you, I want the person sitting right across from me! Leave, before I make you leave."

Sydney: "you don't know what you just did!"

Sydney started walking towards the door, and of course as soon as she was about to leave Grayson and y/n showed up. Sydney stormed past them pushing y/n in the process making her fall over. Me and Stevie ran over. Y/n was on the floor and Grayson was crouched next to her. I could see she was about to cry.

Grayson: "what the fuck was Sydney doing here!?"

Ethan: "I don't know, she just fucking showed up, she must've seen us come in or something. Y/n are you alright?"

Y/n: "um..yeah, I just hurt my knee, it's fine."

Grayson: "can you get up?"

Y/n: "I think so."

Y/n tried to get up. She stumbled and fell back down. Grayson caught her.

Grayson: "ok, I'm calling Alex."

Y/n: "it's fine Grayson, I just lost my balance, look."

Y/n tried to get back up. She stood up but when she tried to walk she fell over again, Stevie caught her this time.

Stevie: "we need to get you home, Grayson call Alex."

Grayson: "already on it."

Ethan: "Y/n, here, use me as support, I'll take you to our table."

I helped y/n to mine and Stevie's table. Grayson came over.

Grayson: "Alex said he'll be at least 20 minutes."

Y/n: "it's fine. We can just sit and talk."

Ethan: "that's fine with me. Anyway, um how did you guys get here?"

Grayson: "we rode our skateboards."

Ethan: "wait, Y/n, you have a skateboard?"

Y/n: "oh, no, what he means is that I rode your skateboard."

Ethan: "oh."
