Chapter 39; Dating Start...?

Sans teleported into his room, he grabbed his notebook from his cupboard and started writing in it.

He went over the information again, rechecking if he had made any mistakes. 

Everything seemed in order so he placed it back in his cupboard and headed downstairs to get his younger brother. 

"hey, paps. can ya help me for a sec?" Sans asked. Papyrus stood up from the couch  "HOW MAY THE GREAT PAPYRUS ASSIST YOU TODAY?!" Sans winked "i need help finding somethin'" His younger brother nodded and turned towards Undyne "I'LL BE BACK SOON!" Undyne gave him a smile and nodded her head. He got off the couch and followed Sans into his room.

Sans shut the door behind them "so, i talked to 'dings recently and he told me our full names, ages, when we were made, and our traits which we already knew. wanna hear 'em?" Papyrus nodded eagerly, Sans chuckled "actually... i'm too lazy to tell ya, so..." He went over to his cupboard and handed Papyrus his notebook which was already flipped to the page he noted down on just a minute ago "here." Papyrus nodded and started reading. 

"WOWIE! MY BIRTHDAY WAS YESTERDAY!" Sans nodded "we can still throw ya a birthday party if ya want." Papyrus's face lit up "I WOULD LOVE THAT! CAN WE SPEND IT TOGETHER? JUST THE TWO OF US?" Sans blushed slightly "i would love that too, but... we can't just leave undyne, right?" Papyrus nodded "THEN WE'LL CELEBRATE IT ONCE WE HAD REACHED THE SURFACE!" Papyrus posed. Sans smiled "bro, you're the coolest." Papyrus gave Sans a warm smile. He leaned in and clanked teeths' with his older brother. 

Papyrus pulled away and stared into Sans's white pupils which seemed hazy, his eye sockets were half lidded, and it looked at him lovingly. Papyrus adored when Sans would look at him like that "Not Without You." He whispered to Sans. Sans smiled upon hearing those words and pushed his teeth gently against his brother's again. 

They pulled away after a few seconds and smiled at each other "I TOLD UNDYNE THAT SHE SHOULD GIVE ALPHYS A LETTER! DO YOU WANT TO HELP?" Papyrus asked. Sans chuckled "all right." He responded. Papyrus smiled as he rubbed his thumb against his older brother's cheek, Sans leaned into the touch, Papyrus's smile widened. 

A few more loving rubs later, they left their room.

-30 Minutes Later-
Undyne waited outside the skelebro's house with Papyrus for the human's arrival. Papyrus and Undyne already called them, so all they had to do was wait.

Shortly after, they spotted the human walking towards them

"Um, so, I have a favor to ask you. Uuuuh, I... I need you to deliver this letter. To Dr. Alphys." Frisk tilted their head to the side "Huh!? Why don't I do it myself...?" Undyne shyly looked away "... um. W-Well... I-It's kind of personal, but we're friends... so... I'll t-tell you... Hotland SUUUUCKS!!! I don't wanna have to go over there!!! So here you go." Undyne handed the letter to Frisk "Oh, and if you read it... I'll KILL you. Thanks so much! You're the best!!" Frisk smiled and went over to Papyrus "UNDYNE WRITES A LOT OF LETTERS. BUT, SHE CAN NEVER SEEM TO FIND THE RIGHT WORDS. SO WHEN SHE GOES TO DELIVER THEM HERSELF... SHE ALWAYS QUITS SO SHE CAN GO BACK AND REWRITE. THAT'S WHY SHE ASKED YOU!! BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO STANDARDS!" The human chuckled and made their way to Hotland.
