Chapter 11; Awkward Morning

-Morning-
Papyrus was first to wake up, he looked over to the side and saw Sans still asleep, lightly snoring. He gave Sans a gentle kiss on the head "p-paps?" Papyrus and Sans were blushing, facing each other "O-OH, SORRY, SANS, DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE AWAKE..." Papyrus averted his gaze from his brother, he had orange blush on his face "i, uh, woke up when you gave me that k-kiss." Sans also averted his gaze, an awkward morning for the both of them. Papyrus had decided to break the awkward tension "I, UM, WILL GO DOWN STAIRS AND MAKE BREAKFAST! YES!" Sans nodded and got up, so did Papyrus. Sans walked to his room and Papyrus walked downstairs to the kitchen. Sans was still flustered about what had just happened, he mumbled to himself "another problem to face, huh? damn, what the hell's wrong with me?" he sighed, a bit frustrated with himself. He had always felt this way towards his brother, but it always was just a simple crush, nothing too big for him, until recently it's been developing, it's becoming a little of a pain to try controlling himself from calling his brother cute or kissing him, should he even confront something like this to Papyrus? He would be shocked.. to say the least, well, let's see what the future holds.
 
Papyrus was cooking spaghetti in the kitchen, he still had a little orange hue spread across his face. He was thinking, not really understanding this feeling, similar to admiration but it also hurts in a good way...? Sure, he does kiss his brother's head sometimes, but this was the first time Sans was awake for it, seeing Sans all flustered like that made something resonate in his soul. A question shot through Papyrus's skull 'AM I FALLING IN LOVE WITH SANS...?' he must be mistaken, after all, family can't love each other in that way, right?
  
After around 15 minutes had passed, Papyrus called out for Sans so they could eat, Papyrus could hear slippers walking down the stairs and to the kitchen, Sans greeted Papyrus "hello, bro." Papyrus smiled "HELLO, BROTHER!" they sat down and ate in silence, Sans got up and spoke "thank you for the meal, paps." Papyrus nodded, Sans left the kitchen and went into the leaving room.
 
Papyrus peeked out the kitchen and saw Sans sitting on the couch scanning the notebook Papyrus had looked through before. He tried to sneak up on Sans, but it didn't work out since Sans noticed him almost right away, he shut the notebook and placed it beside him "what's up, bro?" Papyrus sat down beside Sans and replied "NOTHING MUCH, JUST CURIOUS ABOUT THAT NOTEBOOK! WHAT IS IT ABOUT?" Sans faced his brother and sighed "i won't keep secrets from you anymore, bro. but we don't have enough time, you have to go to undyne's place, right?" Papyrus nodded "YES, BUT I CAN CANCEL, IT'S NOT LIKE WE'RE DOING ACTUAL TRAINING... AND I ALREADY DID THIS TRAINING BEFORE." He was right, he had already done it before, but is it alright to cancel? After all, this has not happened before, but maybe it's okay? It shouldn't affect the timeline, right? "sure, as long as you're ok with it." Papyrus pulled out his phone and phoned Undyne "GOOD MORNING, UNDYNE! I WILL NOT COME TO TRAINING TODAY BECAUSE I'VE GOT SOMETHING IMPORTANT TO DO, SORRY." They stayed on the phone for a little while.
