9. Reality

Alejandro's POV

One week, and I kept Katan locked in the study room. He cried and sobbed constantly throughout the entire day. I simple ignored him and went off with my day.

It was cruel, but he had to learn. He had to learn to fear me.

Seah had taken her job seriously and has dome a fair job. But as days gone by, I saw her dark circles forming darker and darker. She became more pale every day. I noticed it, but she didn't dare tell me she was overworking. I believe it's because it's one of the highest paying salary in the company except for me is she enduring everything. And that pissed me off.

Rule 2: Tell your boss if you are having any troubles coping.

Rule 1 was to do your work efficiently at all times.

She followed, but broke the second rule.

So me being annoyed by her "innocence" at work and pissed at Katan at home, it's hard to find some peace and quiet these days.

"Seah." I rubbed my forehead.

She scrambled to my table and asked me what I needed.

"Go outside and grab a coffee for yourself."

"U-uh..?"

"Anything the matter."

"N-no Mr Black. I'll do as you instructed."

"Good."

I pushed my chair and walked out.

"I want one on my desk in 5 minutes as well."

The only sound making in the office was her slight sigh and tiny sniffles of tear drops.

Bree's POV

After a long day at work, it was about time to give Novis a meal.

Ready Novis?

Mhm. Let's go.

I grabbed my bag and dashed off. I tossed everything on the bed at home and stripped from top to bottom. I packed a set of clothes and headed off.

With a quick shift, I turned into a wolf and ran to the forest. The breath of fresh air and freedom hit my nose. The calming breeze hit my fur as it brushed off till the tip of my tail. A smile formed on my face as I kept running and running and never ending.

I skipped and howled to my heart's content. It was freedom to run this freely. The warmth and coolness mixed in so well that it gave a heartwarming feeling. The feeling of love and safety. Something I could never ever steal.

We hunted our prey with elegance and skill. It's a way that only we know of. A way we realised we could do.

It wasn't pretty, but it was useful. That was the main thing. Everywhere was all trees and nature. A perfect place for us to be in. A perfect shelter.

But she didn't know then, was someone was watching her. Quietly, mysteriously and slowly, piercing through her eyes looking for something.

If only everything could be this carefree... Because even though I didn't want to admit it, I knew I was on danger. And of I don't find him soon, I might have ran out of time.

He is growing. He is growing very big. I need to stop him before he gets out of hand. But the thing is, where do I even begin?

Alejandro's POV

The coffee spun around slowly a couple of times and the heat given out from it has disappeared. The bitter taste of it has turned bland and the color had faded. That showed how long the coffee was on the table for. I told Seah to take the rest of the day off. And she agreed.

I wanted to go home early today anyway.

Back home, I headed towards the study room and placed a plate of food on the floor. Katan was sleeping. I kissed the crown on his forehead and left the room.

30 minutes later I came back and saw him kneeling on the floor in front of his food. And I heard his stomach growl once. He sure led his stomach in to prevent any more sounds from escaping.

"Why didn't you eat?" I leaned my shoulder on the door.

"You haven't given me permission to." He replied.

I nodded.

"You may eat. After you're done, take a shower and come up to my room. All this must be done in 30 minutes." I said.

He said a silent thank you before gobbling the food down.

After watching for a few seconds, I left the room.

I read my book silently in my room while waiting for Katan.

29 minutes later, he knocked on the door before coming in and kneeling in front of me.

I closed my book gently.

"Had a good meal and shower?"

"Yes master. Thank you master."

"So tell me. What have you done wrong."

"I-I pleasured myself without your permission."

"Correct. And what consequence was there for it."

"No food or water for 1 week."

"Yes. So tell me, did you deserve that punishment?"

"Yes master."

"Good. What will you do from now on?"

"Never pleasure myself ever again."

"And if you do?"

"I'll be whipped how many times you like."

I smiled at his obdience.

"Come here mascota." I patted the side beside me.

He got up and sat beside me. I ruffled his hair and he sqeezed his eyes and gave a playful smile. I chuckled. He is too cute.

I took out the syringe from the drawer.

As soon as Katan saw it, his expression changed.

"M-master, what is that?" He asked.

I placed my finger on my lip.

"Quiet pet."

I took it and injected it in me. Katan stared at me with a motionless face.

After I was finished, I threw it away in the bin.

"Now, we're going to go somewhere. It's a place you have seen before. "

Katan tilted his head in confusion.

"It will bring back memories of your past. And I want you to be able to accept your past."

I could feel his heart racing.

"It's time for you to accept what you are. And I mean what. Not a who."

Yes I noe this chapter was supposed to published in June but I just can't wait! Next five will be out in 1st June I promise!
