Jinyoung was late, as always. He had to get to school quickly, and of course his first class had an asshole of a professor who would kick late students out his class. Rushing was difficult for Jinyoung, but he pushed himself to run for the bus stop, needing to catch the quickest bus to university as he could.

As he approached the stop, he ran past a puff of smoke that he unfortunately took a huge intake of while passing by. He tried to keep running, but the fumes from the cigarette some random person was smoking got caught in his lungs and throat, slowing him down just a few feet away from the bus stop. He doubled over, wheezing and coughing as the familiar feeling of his throat closing up, suffocated him.

He fell to his knees, grabbing his throat while his other hand frantically patted his butt in search of something. Of course this had to happen right before school, not that it's anything new.

Jinyoung's asthma was a pain in the ass, and it often kicked his ass when it decided to try and kill him every now and then. He already has trouble with changing seasons due to the increase in pollen, struggles living in the suburbs due to partially polluted air, and he hated smokers. Smoke is what most often starts up his asthma attacks, the toxic shit always making him collapse and gasp desperately for air.

So this wasn't anything new. He was used to crawling on the pavement trying to find his inhaler, and used to people just watching him in shock rather than helping. Not even the person smoking gave two shits about the asthmatic kid they nearly sent to the hospital. They seem to care more about their dumb cigarette than a random dude's life.

Though Jinyoung had expected this day to be like all the other days his asthma acts up, he was shocked to see a shadow stading over him and feel a hand on his back just moments after he collapsed. He looked up, squinting against the sun at a guy he'd never seen before.

He would've looked closer at his face if he weren't busy suffocating, but the quick glimpse he got of the guy's face was actually quite plesant. At least for a first time quick glance.

"Hey, are you okay?" The stranger frantically asked.

"I-Inhaler..." Jinyoung croaked out, his voice difficult to use as he was still trying to intake as much air as his throat allowed him to.

The guy looked around, frowing at Jinyoung. "Uh, w-where is it?"

"Po-". Jinyoung wheezed instead of talked, quickly reaching for his back pocket. He felt a foreign hand on his butt, which probably belonged to the stranger trying to help him out, but it was quite uncomfortable to be fondled and choked at the same time. Jinyoung has heard of people having those kinks, but he knew for sure after this moment he wasn't into it.

The guy ended up grabbing the inhaler and putting it in Jinyoung's mouth, watching Jinyoung take over from there and take a few pumps. He pulled the inhaler from his mouth, chest heaving as he took in a copious about of air that his selfish throat wouldn't allow him to.

The stranger that had helped him was still by his side, patting Jinyoung on the back. "You alright? Do you need help?"

Jinyoung, shook his head, waving away the offer. "I'm okay, just my asthma acting up..."

The guy frowned, tilting his head to the side. "That seemed like a whole attack to me, I don't know much about asthma but, you sure you don't need a doctor or something?"

"No it's fine, that one wasn't too bad." Jinyoung stated. He used to go to the doctor for them all the time, but the visits just became useless as the doctor kept repeating the same thing. He just had to live with it, and he's been trying to all on his own for the past couple of years.

The stranger stood up, brushing off his knees and outstretching his hand towards Jinyoung. "Oh... well, um, do you need help getting somewhere?"

Jinyoung looked up while taking the raondom guys hand, seeing the bus pull off. He sighed. "Well, I just missed the bus to school, so I guess I'm waiting for the next one..."

"Oh, what school?" The stranger questioned.

"The university not too far from here." Jinyoung answered as he stumbled to his feet, still gripping tightly onto the man's hand.

The stranger's lips spread into a wide cheery smile. "Why didn't you say so? I have a car, we can go together."

Jinyoung frowned as he was being led off with this unknown guy. "Wait, you go there too?"

He nodded, smiling back at Jinyoung. "Yeah, music major, you?"

"Um... business major, but minor in music." Jinyoung mumbled.

"Oh I See. Well, I don't mind giving you a ride. Don't wanna be late, right?" The guy asked.

Jinyoung tried to pull away, not wanting to burden this guy too much. "You don't have to, it's okay..."

"No, I insist. Come on." He stated, pulling Jinyoung along towards a bright red convertible.

Jinyoung took in a breath, unsure of what he just got himself into.
