The day seemed to pass by fast, probably because Jinyoung was jittery about meeting Jackson later. He'd suggested doing something 'different' and of course Jackson had no clue what he was talking about. But that was the plan.

Jinyoung didn't want Jackson to know that he was secretly planning to ask him to the homecoming dance, but he was the type to get anxious about everything, so as the time to meet with Jackson grew closer, Jinyoung became more nervous. Jinyoung's last class ended and he walked out of the building with clammy hands and a fast pounding heart as soon as Jackson came into sight.

Jackson waved as Jinyoung approached, receiving a timid wave back. "So? What's this different thing you wanna do? I've been wondering about it all day."

"Um... well, I wanna go shopping with you." Jinyoung stated, pushing himself to continue with his plan that would hopefully work out well.

Jackson seemed a bit let down, almost as if he were expecting Jinyoung to suggest something more exciting to do, but he kept that blinding smile on his face as always. "Shopping? This morning you made it sound like you wanted to go skydiving or something. But we can totally go shopping."

"Well then let's head to the mall." Jinyoung replied, taking in a deep breath as he built up his courage to ask the big question.

The two arrived at the mall with Jinyoung leading Jackson into a men's suit store. Jinyoung needed to buy a suit, and what better person to help pick it out besides the person he was gonna ask to be seen with him in it.

"Why are we here?" Jackson asked, looking around the store with a curious expression.

"Because I need a suit." Jinyoung explained. He planned on saying as little about it as possible, he really wanted to surprise Jackson well.

"For what exactly?" Jackson asked, of course pushing with more questions as he always did.

Jinyoung walked further into the store, looking amongst the array of jackets and pants sets on display. "An event."

Jackson chuckled at the short answer, folding his arms over his chest as he followed. "Okay fine, keep your secrets Park Jinyoung."

Jinyoung didn't expect him to catch on so quickly to his lack of giving information. Jackson always seemed able to see through him though, it shouldn't have been that shocking. "I just want your opinion."

Jackson shrugged, seeming indifferent to the whole thing. "Oh, okay."

Jackson didn't press any further, to which Jinyoung was grateful for since he wasn't sure what he'd say if the questions got too specific. He walked further through the store, occasionally glancing over at Jackson to see if anything caught his eye. He decided to try on a suit and ask for Jackson's input to hopefully find one that he'd love. Jinyoung quietly disappeared into the dressing room, reappearing wearing the suit. Jackson was looking amongst some of the jackets when Jinyoung tapped him on the shoulder, drawing his attention.

"Does this one look okay?" He asked, only then realizing that he'd have to awkwardly model in front of Jackson to get his full opinion.

Jackson shrugged, his reaction not as grand as Jinyoung expected it to be. "I mean, I dunno, looks a bit small on you. Besides that though it's fine."

"So bigger size then, noted." Jinyoung hurried off to find another suit to try on, finding one with a royal blue jacket and black pants. He wondered if mixing colors would look good on him, deciding to try it out and show Jackson. He appeared out of the dressing room, this time with Jackson waiting right outside to see him. "Okay, this jacket with these pants?"
