Linda paced up and down Danny's small apartment. She had stopped over for lunch, then she and he were going to get everything else done. They were getting married in two days, which sent the nurse into a panic attack.
"We still have so much to do!" She said as Danny watched her pace. "Something old, Something new, something borrowed, and something blue! I've got something old, something new, and something borrowed, but nothing blue! I can't get married without something blue!"
"Linda..."
"How can you be so calm? We're getting married in two days!"
"It's my job to stay calm, and you'll find something blue. Even if it's something silly like underwear."
Linda stopped pacing and put her hands on Danny's shoulders, "you're a life saver. I've gotta go buy something blue." She kissed her fiancé and ran out the door.
Danny smiled, "five... four... three... two... one."
"But we gotta do other things first!" She came back into the apartment. "Where's my purse?" Linda turned in a little circle.
Danny smirked and grabbed her purse. Kissing her cheek, he said, "calm down. Everything will be just fine."

Linda paced up and down as Erin, Wendy, and Chrissy tried to help her get ready. "Are they here yet?"
"No," Chrissy shook her head. "Maybe they're not coming?"
"They have to come! They're my parents!"
"Any sign of Danny yet?" Joe wondered, coming up to his Dad who was waiting for his eldest son.
"No. What kinda person takes a tour on their wedding day?"
"The kinda person who's practically broke. And that's Danny and Linda.... speaking of which..."
"Frank!" Linda called, running up to him in her corset, jeans, and heels. It was the day of her wedding, and everything was going wrong. "Can you walk me down the isle? Please? My stupid parents aren't here!"
"Of course!" Frank smiled at her nervousness.
"Thank you! Oh, I feel so much better!" She put a hand on Frank's shoulder and one on her heart, momentarily calm. All of a sudden, she exclaimed, "dress! I gotta go get dressed! Dress! That's important!" She ran back to her dressing room.
"Dad!" Erin came walking up to him. "Please tell me Danny's here?"
Frank shook his head.
"Ugh! Out of all the days, why'd he decide to do a tour on his wedding day?!"
"Cause he's virtually broke. He's gonna be living at Dad's for the first few months. Guarantee it." Joe smiled at his sister.
"But he shouldn't take a tour on his wedding day!"
"Hey," Jack came walking up to them. "Is Private Butthead here yet?"
"Okay, first of all, he's about to be a sergeant. Second, don't call him that," Erin scolded. "Yes, I know he calls you Jack@ss, But don't stoop to his level."
Frank and Joe has to bite their lips- they disliked Erin's husband, and found it utterly hilarious that Danny called him something vulgar.
"But seriously, where is he?" Joe wondered.
"Whatever's happened, we can't tell Linda."
"Can't tell Linda what?" The nurse asked; she had come out again, looking for Erin.
"Can't tell you that your fian—" Jack was cutoff by Joe's hand.
"My fiancé? What's wrong? Is he hurt? Did he get into an accident? Is he having cold feet? Is he not here?" Linda panicked.
"That's the one," Jack nodded after removing Joe's hand.
"He's not here?! Oh, no! My parents were right! He doesn't really wanna marry me! He just—"
"Whoa, whoa, Linda. Calm down. I'm sure it's just traffic." Frank told her.
"There is no traffic at ten am on a Saturday!"
"Linda! There you are!" Mary walked up to her. "Don't worry; I just spoke to Danny, and he's having car trouble. He'll be here as soon as he can."
"Oh, thank goodness!" The bride sighed, then looked surprised. She rushed off the the room she was getting ready in.
Mary looked at Frank, "I really hope he's having car trouble."
"You lied?"
"Nobody should be worried about their husband to be on the day of their wedding!"
"Let's hope you're right; otherwise, that woman would kill our son."
