Levi and Riaville

Opposite Sides

Levi scrubbed his skin hard. He felt goosebumps on them, and then he glared at soapy suds sliding down the drain.

He hated this!

Why the hell was he stuck like this? He needed to find his uncle and demand answers as to why he was like this.

He got out of the shower and then turned, staring at the mirror.

Instead of contempt, his face had a small smile on it. His sweet face was accented by his baby blue eyes
"Rivaille!" His reflection lilted. "How's your day? Want me to take over?"

"Levi..." he growled. "Why the hell are you still here?!"

Levi smiled. "That's why you ask Uncle. Then... we can finally be free."

He grit his teeth and clenched his fists. He turned to the side, his hair shadowing over his eyes.

Levi was silent until...

"I'm sorry, Rivaille. I'll see you later."

Then Rivaille was kicked out of his body. He stared at the bathroom through his eyes, but his body did not move to his own will.

He was not the one in control right now.

But he did not fight. It would only hurt him later.

It was easy as to why he was like this.

He and Levi were like opposite sides.

If he was trapped, in this body, in this world, unable to stop his torment.

All because of his uncle.

Levi smiled as he brushed his hair. The omega turned when the door opened and Petra nervously looked at him.

"Uhh... Levi! I'm here, so we have to go!"

He nodded, slipped on his backpack, and then dashed towards her.

He went onto the bus first, and was immediately seated next to Eren, at the back.

Eren smiled when he saw him. "My queen," he purred.

Levi nervously looked away but Rivaille was indignant.

'How dare this ducking brat!!'

They rode silently to the school, and when the bus stopped, Eren got off first, and then Levi, and then everyone else.

He was escorted to his classrooms. Either it was Eren, Petra or, for last resort, Marco.

Marco was a quiet beta with a kind smile and freckles for every kind deed he had done, which were a lot.

While Levi was silently flattered, Rivaille was absolutely disgusted.

Was he so weak and untrusted that Eren needed to have protected at all costs?!

Was he so self-centered, he did not ask for his opinion?!

Levi gently calmed him down through their link.

'Calm down, Rivaille. When we find Uncle, we won't have to be one ever again. You can be you again and I can be myself.'

Rivaille calmed down and berated himself.

Why was he so selfish?

He needed to calm down.

It was his stupid omega, wanting to show off to his alpha and show him that he was perfect and better than all of these——

Eren wasn't his. Why he even consider Eren as a mate? God, he's so thirsty, isn't he?

Inwardly, he was saddened. Levi did not know, that... Levi would not ever be able to be himself even after they separated.

While Rivaille panicked over his crush that he wouldn't be admitting to, Levi was eating his food quietly.

Petra looked at him.

"Uh... my queen...?"

"Y-Yes?" He stuttered.

Petra looked nervous and fidgeted. "Well, I wanted to ask you a question...."

Levi tilted his head. "Yes?"

"...Do you talk to yourself?"
