The first race of Season 4 starts here at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. 

William Duncan rolled off on pole with the new Ditech Motorsports with the new GoDaddy Motorsports (former Monster Motorsports) backing. On his outside is Austin Murray, in the car that Season 3 champion Tib Foster won the title in. Two people who had a bad qualifying day was DJ Kurtis and Chandler Maurice. These drivers have a major team backing and Maurice is Blake Maurice's younger brother. 

After starting P3, Anderson Reed made his move and went 3 wide to take the lead and lead the first lap. Reed maintained the race lead on lap 2 ahead of Mark Sylas. On lap 3 out of turn 2, Silas with help from Alex Benyacko the Duel 2 winner forces Reed out of line and takes the top spot. Despite being forced out of the bottom line, Reed leads lap 3. On lap 4 and lap 5, Reed still leads with a challenge from Ditech's Jesse Turner. Reed remains leader after 6 laps. Jesse Turner off of turn 2 on lap 7 clears Reed, the first time Anderson has not seen clean air this whole season. Out of turn 4, Fisher Gee and Steven Wallace Jr. collide but neither spin and caution is not needed. Jesse Turner leads lap 7, the first time that Reed has not lead a lap in a race this season. Turner still leads on lap 8. On lap 9, Jake Galloway takes the lead off of turn 2. Off of turn 4, Carson Bauers, Casey Mears, Mark Sylas, and Steven Wallace Jr. collide with Sylas, Bauers, and Wallace Jr. sliding down to the bottom. Wallace and Sylas slide back into line, but Bauers slides through the grass and keeps on going into Zachary Fitzwater Sr. triggering the big one. Samet Ozkan had nowhere to go and turned Bauers, collecting more and more cars. Ozkan slid into Jacob Rose and almost got flipped over by the contact from the 86 car. The race back to the line, Jake Galloway maintains the lead. As the drivers were lining up under caution, several of the rookies collided causing race-ending damage. Pedal2Medal had 2 of their 3 cars involved in the 4 car stack up. The cars involved in the crash out of turn 4.

On lap 15 of 20, the race went back green with the 48 of Jake Galloway still leading. P2 is Alex Benyacko, and P3 is Fisher Gee. 6 laps remaining here at Daytona! Into turn 3, Alex Benyacko takes the lead coming to 5 to go. 4 to go Jake Galloway off of turn 4 powers past Benyacko. 3 to go Galloway still leads. Into turn 3 Jesse Turner makes a 3 wide move for the lead! Despite the power move from the 43, Colton Layne in the 14 takes the lead with 2 laps to go! Out of turn 2, Turner takes the lead and Galloway also clears Layne for P2. The white flag is out, Jesse Turner has a car length lead over Jake Galloway! Into turn 3 Galloway looks to the bottom of Turner with one last shot to win! OFF OF TURN 4, JESSE TURNER WINS THE VALVOLINE 200!
