Monday morning has rolled around. I've been dreading this since Friday night. I hate highschool, I just want to graduate. These may be the fastest four years of my life, but they are not best four years. Being seventeen is a real disaster if you ask me.

I turn off alarm and get out of bed. I shiver as my feet hit the cold floor. As I'm walking to my bathroom, my bedroom door opens. My mother walks in.

"Honey, Can we talk for a minute?" She asks, looking at me sweetly. I nod my head and sit down on my bed next to her.
"I've noticed Wren hasn't been in a while and you've been going out on weekends. That's not a bad thing, I'm glad you've made new friends and you're going out. I just don't want you to lose Wren over a petty disagreement or something stupid."

"Thank you Mom. She just said something out of place for her. I didn't mean for this happen, I just don't want to apologize first."

She smiles and says, "I understand that. Just don't let it get to out of hand." She hugs and leaves me to get ready. I walk into my bathroom and shower.
Today I decide to wear a mid thigh yellow skirt paired with a long sleeve white shirt that had lace on the sleeves. I slip on my white Vans and make my way downstairs.
"Mom, are you still home?" I ask throughout the house. I guess she went to work. I grab an apple and head out the door. In the car, I brush my hair and leave it down.

I pull up to school with twenty minutes till class. I decide to sit in my car for ten minutes, allowing me less time in the hallways which means less time to get stared at or taunted. I check my eye in the mirror, it looks much better. I finally pulled myself together and got out my shitty car. I locked the doors and trudged inside. While walking to my locker, I could feel stares being burned into my head. I ignored them and put in my locker combination. I grabbed my books and looked at my schedule. Today's classes were switched around due to testing for the underclassmen. I had third bell first which English with Carter. That's if he is even here today, considering he skipped three out of the five days last week.

I enter English keeping my head down. That is a voice raises in the back, "Hey, Oakley. That is your name right? Or is it slut?" Laughter erupts in the classroom. I bury face in my arms, trying not cry or get angry. I might not have liked being invisible, but it is sure better than being taunted by people who didn't even know my name four days ago. Highschool is such shit. We're constantly forced to wake up at seven a.m, go to a place where people are cruel, then we're given hours of homework which we're expected finish while having a social life, do extracurriculars, and get nine hours of sleep. What bullshit.

Our teacher walked in and silenced the class. "Alright, everybody get out your writing notebooks. I want you to use the prompt "What does honesty mean to you". Please begin, they will be due at the end of the week."

I lift my head and pull my notebook out of my bag.

"What does honesty mean to me? Well, that's difficult to answer because it means alot of different things. It all depends o-" I began writing, until I heard the door open. I didn't bother looking up. "Mr.Riley, how nice of you to join us today. Please discard of the smoke" I hear Mrs.Benson speak. That captures my attention but I refuse to look up, he doesn't deserve my attention. He will probably act like he doesn't know who I am. I was right. He just walks right past me, not even bothering to glance at me. Asshole.

The bell rings and I gather my stuff quickly, walking briskly out of the classroom. I barely made it out before I lost my footing and fell. I rose to my knees to pick up my stuff. I'm so fucking clumsy.

"Is that favorite position? You seem pretty used to being on your knees" Melody sneers. Fuck it.
"You would know Melody. It's take a whore to know one. I think I see a bump on your lip, you might want to get tested" I shoot back, standing up. She looks at me as if she was going to kill me. I can see Carter trying not to laugh out of the corner of my eye. "What are you laughing at Carter? I'm almost certain she got it from you" I say, shutting him up. His face hardens and he steps towards me. "What the fuck did you say to me?" He questions, staring right into my green eyes. His blue one hold no emotion but anger, it's scares me. I feel goosebumps arise on my skin.
