For a while they sat there in silence. Ahsoka's head was spinning with all of this information - although it could've also been due to the hangover she was experiencing.
How could my master not turn me in? I've broken the code.
She glanced at Lux who was watching her carefully. Everytime she looked at him, memories of what had happened the previous night - the ball, the kisses he had planted on her cheek - came rushing back to her. Then Lux's words a few moments ago before Anakin had discovered them echoed in her head.
I know you didn't find that all bad.
She couldn't deny it, he was right. But as much as she wanted to, this couldn't go on. She felt like she was being torn apart. Her life with the Jedi Order was sending her in one direction, whilst the other half of her yearning for a life with Lux continued in the opposite. She collapsed to the ground, stifling a sob. Lux sat down next to her, linking his fingers with hers. How could she explain this all to him? She didn't want to upset him but this felt so wrong to her, so alien. She had no idea where her journey with Lux was leading her. Perhaps it would be better to walk away from him, return to the order, act like this never happened. The thought made a sour expression appear on her face. Then something else entered her thoughts. Something she hadn't considered.
What if he doesn't love me? What if what happened last night was all beacuse of the alcohol and not because he actually has feelings for me? What if all of the words that he said that meant so much to me were all a lie?
Questions kept popping up in her mind and Ahsoka didn't know what to believe anymore. She was so lost in her thoughts that had it not been for the warm touch of Lux's hand holding hers, she wouldn't have noticed that he was there next to her.
Lux stroked her cheek gently. The silence continued to go on between them and it had begun to make him feel uneasy. He could not describe how relieved he was that Master Skywalker had turned a blind eye to their predicament. Not many Jedi would do that. Actually he doubted that any Jedi would do that other that Master Skywalker.
Ahsoka's lucky to have a master like him, he thought to himself.
He would've never forgiven himself if Ahsoka had gotten into trouble beacuse of him. Next time they'd have to be more discrete. If there's a next time. There was no doubting that last night's events had made him the happiest he had ever been in his life and he was sure Ahsoka shared this feeling, however it served as a wake up call to them both. If they were going to do this - work around the rules - they needed to do it in the right way. They couldn't afford to slip up and let anyone notice. One mistake could cost them both severely. It was a miracle that they had even made it past this morning. Again Lux silently thanked Anakin for saving their reputations and career in Ahsoka's case. Lux squeezed Ahsoka's hand tighter. At this she looked up to meet his gaze. To his disappointment, she still didn't speak a word, although seeing her look at him again filled him with warmth. A faint glimmer of a smile lit up his face as Ahsoka leaned back into his arms. He sneaked his arms around her waist, simply holding her there close to him. Maybe, he thought, just maybe, this could work.

Yeah sorry guys this is kinda short. I'm not really sure where I was going with this chapter. I want to show how conflicted Ahsoka feels between her love for Lux and her life with the Order. But heck I'm not breaking up my otp.
