Just the thought of remembering how he looked at her like he was in love and how he held her hand like he didn't want to lose her at all, right up to his car until to her doorstep that one fateful night, sends shivers down her spine until now.

She was glad he didn't dare to kiss her at all because she was positive that if he ever did that, with the amount of alcohol and confidence in her system being taken into consideration, she knew she wouldn't have let him go home at all and she'll maybe be expecting two red lines by now.

Of course, she wouldn't dare to say it out loud.

Shen Yue is so thirsty. She could only be glad no one could read her mind.

He was normally drop dead gorgeous in any tux that he gets to wear. She rarely admitted it out loud how, she too, wasn't immune to his overflowing charms like most girls around her age are. Though she didn't shy away from thinking about how gifted this man is every time she is charmed, she made sure to never give an inkling to him just how floored she is every single time she sees him and that happens.

That night, he was specially drop dead gorgeous gorgeous in his black tux in her eyes. Maybe because it was only then that she gets to see him in the flesh for over after a year and a half of not being able to meet. She remembers getting so keyed up just at the sight of him standing on the other side of the room.

Dylan Wang

"Dylan Wang" the name escaped her lips before she could even think about why she muttered his name. She closed her eyes and rested her head on the back of the sofa. She wasn't sure if she'll still be sane after this downtime was over considering how wild her thoughts are going every now and then.

As her throat turned dry and as she felt an oncoming migraine rearing its ugly head on her mind, she decided it was time to stop thinking about the-guy-who-must-not-be-named-for-he-is-dangerous-for-her-well-being-at-the-moment. It wasn't enough of an excuse, but she never wanted to down a Moët or any can of beer so early in the morning so bad, until now.

She carefully placed the lunchbox on her lap, on the table and stood up to go to her fridge to do just that.

'Congrats Shen Yue, you're on house arrest for drinking and you're still gonna drink some more' she smirked at that, what her manager doesn't know won't kill her.

It would be a lie if she said she didn't feel guilty about being this rebellious but it also would be a disservice to herself if she doesn't allow herself to enjoy these little things while she still can.

'I told you to cut down on your drinking' His voice echoed in her mind. Ha. Wait for me to tell him to cut down on his smoking too. I bet he'd shut up. Her eyes gleamed at that.

When she excitedly pulled the door of her fridge open and the light inside went on, she was bewildered to find her chiller compartment empty of all the beers she knew she stored there just a week ago.

"I still had a few cans here before I left for that party." Baffled by the sight she was greeted with, she continued staring at her fridge and tried to think back if she unthinkingly drank the cans when she got back that night or the day after.

"That can't be." Slowly, she bent down and opened all the compartments left on her fridge to double check where she misplaced her beers. "Didi definitely won't let me..." so there should still be some more left here "He wouldn't drink them too." she was sure he wouldn't risk drinking some when he had to drive back to his place in one piece.

Unless...

"Unless..." unless that idiot did what I think he did.

She stood up straight and stomped her feet while she slammed the door closed, the magnets on it shaking with the impact and almost falling off.

"Wang Hedi... you busybody." distractedly, she opened all the kitchen closets she had to see if her intuition was right. That big idiot.

She wouldn't put it past him if he decided to hide her beers just so she wouldn't drink again.

What a buffoon.

'But you like it that he cares this much for you.' Her subconscious uttered.

"Of course, I do." She smirked at her own declaration.

One of the perks of living alone was that no one was there to witness your own absurdity. She could only imagine if she got like this while her brother was around, she was sure he'd be teasing her about it for months.

If this is his way of getting back with me when I threw out a pack of his cigarettes before... I swear to the universe... Wang Hedi... I will elbow your rib so hard you'd forget you love me.

Oh.

Scratch that last part.

She tapped her head lightly and shook the thought away.

When she didn't find any trace of it on her kitchen shelves, she bit her lip as the thought of Dylan possibly throwing them out hit her. Restlessly, her feet kept on thumping the floor.

"I will really beat him up." She kept murmuring it under her breath. Her feet hurriedly took her to her room to get her phone and confront the man about her suspicion. She doubt's the lady helper would have had any interest on what's on her fridge anyway, she was so very sure it could only be him.

She went back in front of her refrigerator and opened it wide and took out her phone, swiping her camera on. She was sneering while she took a picture of her fridge as proof.

"Wang Hedi. Oh, Wang Hedi." You can't outsmart me.
