"KIK" Chapter Four.

CHAPTER FOUR: JESSICA'S POINT OF VIEW.

Its been two months since I last saw the boys and I havent heard much from them. They text me now and then asking how Im doing and talking about their recent tour. They're on tour right now in Australia and are meant to be gone for 6 months. I talk to Nick all the time and he gives me recent updates and stuff like that. Im pretty certain he tells the boys how Im doing but I cant stop him, hes his own person. My mum and dad didnt question where I had been after I came back from the boys apartments that day and we have just been carrying on with normal family life. Sophie, Shannon and Jo understand why I dont want to be close to the boys and have said they'll support me with whatever I choose. This is why I love my bestfriends. I changed my image a month ago when the newspapers published about One Directions new girl friend with only the back of my hair showing. To cut out all the drama, I dyed my long brown hair bright red. Mum and dad thought it was a bit bright at first but came to love it. Nick, Sophie, Shannon and Jo always say it makes my eyes pop out even more than they used to. We only have one more month left of school and then me and Jo are moving to London, next to Nicks house and starting college to become Make-Up Artists and Fashion Designers. I cant wait.

"Jess! Were you paying attention to anything I was saying?" I met Sophies glare and smiled weakly. "No sorry. Repeat?" She sighed and sat down running her fingers through my hair. She always does this, she knows it calms me down. "Jess I've been trying to tell you for the past 5 minutes but you have a text from Liam." I glanced at my phonescreen and saw the name Liam flash up. "Great. Just great." I sighed and picked up my phone, opening the message. From Liam. To Jess. Nick's told us about you moving to London. Your going to do amazing in the Fashion and Make-Up industry. You know we havent forgot about you. Its more like the other way round if you ask me. Louis has been acting weirdly recently. He hasnt told anyone anything but he keeps talking to his mum about something and all we hear is the word "cousin." Does that sound worrying or is it just us? I know you wont reply to this but at least we can say we've tried. Please reply? Liam. I sighed and locked the phone, not replying to the messages. "What did he say this time?" I ran my hands through my hair and massaged my scalp. "How they havent forgot about me. All the usual crap really." Sophie nodded and rolled her eyes. "At the end of the day, you did what you thought was right. You knew their world wouldnt be right for you. Your not suited for stardom. Noone is really. They cant blame you for looking out for yourself." I smiled, thanking Sophie for giving me that extra boost. "Now that lunch is over. Lets get out of here!" We jumped up out of our seats and signed out at the front desk, waiting at the wall to meet Shannon and Jo. "Im so glad we have no more exams." I nodded and watched the clouds. We had finished our exams but because the Government were being stupid, we had to stay in school for half a day until June. Which was exactly less than a month away! "Lets go to the beach!" Shannon and Jo ran out of school, screaming about the beach. We walked to mine and got out our swimming-gear that alwayts ended up being left at mine. Sophie had a light blue and white striped bikini that was specifically for the sea and no where else, she made that clear to us a numerous times. Shannon had a red bikini and Jo had a green one. I had a blue flowery bandeau bikini that I loved. I put on a playsuit over and tied my hair in a bun. We grabbed a huge bag and put all of our towels, sunscream, hats, glasses and other crap in ready to get our tans!

HARRY'S POINT OF VIEW.

"Dude! I just text Jess..again." I looked up from my phone and Liam shoved his infront of my face. "It delivered and read 10minutes ago. Do you think she'll reply?" I raised my eyebrows and shook my head. He sighed and fell onto the sofa next to me. "I wish she would talk to us. Nick says shes changed her appearance. He says she has boys falling at her feet." I rolled my eyes. A slight pain of jealousy seeped through me and Liam noticed. "You miss her dont you? We all do." I nodded and tapped my fingers, replying to fans tweets. "She acts normal around us. She's not afraid to be herself. She likes us for us. We'd be mad not to miss her." He nodded taking in everything I was saying. "Who would we be mad to miss?" We jumped and turned around. Lou was standing there holding a file in his hands. "Noone. Whats the file for?" Lou looked down and realised he was still holding the file and jumped on the sofa near us, laying the paperwork out on the coffee table. "Liam, could you call Zayn and Niall in here please?" I watched as Liam jumped up and went to find Zayn and Niall. "Lou what are you doing?" He waved his hand at me as if to say wait and I sat there and kept my mouth shut. Liam returned with Zayn and Niall and they sat around the three sofas in our hotelroom. "Okay. Right. Your probably wondering why Im talking to you like this? This is why." He handed us each a photocopy of a family photo. There was a mum, dad and a baby girl on one side and Lou's mum Jay and Lou on the other side. "Who are they?" He gestured for us to turn the photo over and in clear black and white was "Tomlinson Family Photo." I studied the faces of Louis' aunt and uncle and realised they look familiar. "Have we met them before?" Lou shook his head. "No when my cousin was a baby my mum and aunt had an argument and we never heard from them again. I never got to see my cousin grow up. She'll be 17 this year. Thats why this year. Me and mum have decided we're going to find her and make it up to them." We nodded and I studied the photo carefully. "That woman seems so familiar." The boys nodded in agreement. "We must have seen her before?" We racked our brains but came up with nothing.

"I got a tan bitches!" Shannon came running out of the bathroom downstairs and showed us her tanlines. "Same!" We all happydanced when I noticed a note stuck to the fridge. I pulled it off and read it slowly. Me and Dad have taken the boys to Manchester to see your grandparents. We're going to be gone for about a month. We wont miss you officially leaving school. Love you! Mum and dad. I rolled my eyes and passed the note to Sophie, who passed it to Jo, who passed it to Shannon who scrunched it in a ball. "Are you happy?" I shrugged and the girls sighed. "Recently, they've been acting diffferent. Its like they're hiding something from me." The girls shook their head. "Im sure they arent Jess, when they get back question it?" I nodded slowly and Shannon and Sophie looked at the time. "Well we have to go home now. We'll come round tomorrow?" Me and Jo nodded and they said goodbye, leaving us in my empty house. My house was quite big, seeing as it fitted a family of 6 sometimes 7 when Jo came to stay for days. Shannon and Sophie always stay as well but we share my room seeing as its huge. The whole house is huge. I guess some would say Im spoilt but I would say its not my money, its my parents. As far as Im concerned they can spend as much as they want but I dont let it get to me. My dads a doctor and he works at the local hospital which is huge! My mums a manager for a bank and she loves it, I guess. "Jess, lets skype Nick?" I followed Jo upstairs into my room and sat comfortably on my bed. Jo got out the laptop and signed onto Skype, waiting for the online list to come on. The list finally showed up and we clicked call under Nicks name. "Jessie! Josie!" We laughed and waved at Nicks happy face. "Nickie! Hows our favourite guy doing?" He shrugged and playfully winked. "Im doing good, have you heard from the boys?" I shook my head quickly and Nick rolled his eyes. "Liar." I stuck out my tongue. "Okay maybe they text me today but no big deal." No big deal? Jessie they miss you like crazy." I groaned. "Doesn't matter, they're too far away now." He grinned slyly. "Nickie what have you done?" I heard a knock at his door and he shouted it was open. "NICK MY MATE!" Harry, Louis, Liam, Niall and Zayn walked through the door and I screamed and ducked as Nick waved them over to the computer. "Who just screamed?" Jo looked down at me slightly and I covered my mouth. "Oh just me you know, I hurt my...foot?" I facepalmed and Nick laughed. The boys raised their eyebrows. "Okay then, wheres Jess?" Jo looked around the room. "She's ummmm. She's not here?" Nick laughed again and I sneezed. "Bless me." Jo did an unconvincing sneeze and the boys raised their eyebrows. "Jo why are you on her laptop then?" She stuck out her tongue at Nick making me laugh a bit, Jo covered it up with coughing. "I just am. Bye!" Jo shut off the laptop and facepalmed. "Why are they back now? They're meant to be back in a few more months. What are we supposed to do?!" I shrugged my shoulders and screamed into a pillow. "They're going to come find me and everything" Jo hugged me tightly, calming me down. My phone started ringing and I saw Nick on the Caller I.D. I put him on speaker and spoke cautiously. "Hello?" I heard some shuffling. "Jessie! What just happened?" I racked my brain for an excuse. "Jo threw my laptop in the bath." Jo groaned and the boys laughed. "Why?" I looked at Jo for help and she shook her head. "Ummm, she saw a spider." I facepalmed and Jo once again groaned. "Jess...Jo isnt afraid of spiders?" Jo laughed and I faceplamed. "Huh, Oh what was that Jo okay bye!" I hung up and Jo shook her head. "You cant escape them forever?" I shrugged. "I can try" She rolled her eyes and we got ready for bed.
