"KIK" Chapter Eight.

CHAPTER EIGHT: JESSICA'S POINT OF VIEW.

I slowly stirred the soup, making sure it was cooked enough. I jumped at the sound of the doorbell going off. "JO DOORBELL!" I heard Jo running down the stairs and opening the door. I heard a few voices, male and female. Which is good, because that means Dani and El are here. "Something smells lovely!" I tore my gaze from the soup and saw everyone standing in the doorway. "Thanks. Help yourself to drinks. You know where everything is." Everyone got themselves some drinks and I finished off cooking the soup. I got 8 bowls out and poured some of the liquid in each bowl. I set them out on the table and went to the fridge getting out Liam's carrot salad. I placed it in front of him and he smiled widely at me. Everyone sat at the table and we started eating. It was easy to make conversation with all of them beause we talked about utter crap. I had Harry and Niall on each side of me and Lou infront of me, which means that we had "Larry Stylinson" moments the whole time. Everyone finished their food so I took all the plates and put them in the dishwasher. The oven beeped and I took out the Carbonara and everyone smelled the air. It did smell delicious. "Whats that?" Everyone licked their lips and I smirked. "Spaghetti Carbonara." They all raised their eyebrows. "Its Italian." They nodded and smiled. I set out 9 plates and put similar amounts of Carbonara in. Similar because Niall had extra helpings. I put the plates down and we once again talked and ate. 

"Jess that was delicious!" Dani pouted when she noticed her plate was empty. "Sorry Dani, you and Niall ate the leftovers." Everyone laughed and her and Niall pouted again. "Right! A game of Wii anyone?" We all put our own plates in the dishwasher and took our glasses through to the livingroom so we could play Wii. "I say we go into teams of two." Dani and Liam went together, El and Lou, Zayn and Jo leaving me, Harry and Niall. "We're a three because Im really bad at Wii." Everyone raised their eyebrows and I did the best acting I could. "Alright then, I say Lou and Jess go against eachother because their cousins." I smiled weakly at Harry and Niall and Lou swaggerwalked to where we had to stand and scoffed. "Are you ready to be beaten little cousin?" I rolled my eyes. This boy is stupid. "Okay Lou." He clicked on Yoshi Falls and waited for the countdown. I kept my eyes focussed and blocked out any sounds. The thing is Im quite amazing at Wii, I always win. No one knows except my brothers, but they dont like telling people they were beaten by a girl. Their older sister. The countdown got to one and I sped off leaving Lou in the dirttracks. Everyone stopped laughing and gasped as I sped around the track, miles ahead of the other characters. I got to the last lap, went over the finish line and watched as Lou came 5th. "What the..." Everyone trailed off and I smiled at Harry and Niall who were beaming at the fact we had just won. "Lou, you just got beaten by a your younger cousin....thats a girl!" Everyone laughed and Niall and Harry cheered in victory. Everyone stopped laughing eventually, and I twirled the Wii remote around in my hand. "So, anyone else want to take me on?" They all stepped back and I rolled my eyes. "Actually I do." I raised  my eyebrows at Liam and he winked. "Bring it Payne." He smirked. "Bring it Tomlinson." I paused the game. "Tomlinson is too long, I need something shorter. Everyone thought for a bit, whats short for Tomlinson? "Tommo!" I looked at Dani who looked happy with her idea. "THATS THE ONE!" She smiled in victory and we restarted the game. "Bring it Payne." He chuckled. No one chuckles on my watch. "Bring it Tommo." We pressed start and let the battle begin...

"I cant believe the Liam Payne of One Direction got beat by a girl!" We were eating our dessert now and everyone was laughing about how I had just beat Liam. I mean he was miles behind. Hes supposed to be the active one in the group?! "Hold on one second." I pulled out my phone and checked the Caller I.D, it was my brother Cam. "Aloha! Cam whats up?" Jo raised her head at the sound of Cam's name. She always has been protective over my brothers. "YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT?!" I laughed at the excitement in Cam's voice. "I give up Cam, whats so exciting?" He sighed. "You didnt even guess. Anyway I got a B in my maths paper?" I smiled widely and cheered. "Well done Cam! Your so smart. I bet mum and dad are proud of you." I could hear him laugh and that made me smile. "They said they are. They want you to bring, Jo and some boy called Louis down for a celebration dinner. Mum said Louis' friends can come as well." I smiled. "Okay bye Cam! I love you, well done youve made me proud. I'll tell Jo and Louis." They both raised their eyebows at me and I hung up smiling widely. "So what did Cam do that made you really proud of him?" I smiled and jumped on the spot. "He got a B in his exam paper." Jo's jaw dropped and she screamed and jumped on the spot with me. "Who's cam?" I exchanged glances with Jo and she facepalmed. "Cam is my younger brother. I have three. Cam is 13, Beau is 2 and Alfie is 9." They all nodded. "So is Beau an Italian name?" I rolled my eyes. Its pronounced as Bo not B-e-a-u. "Its prononced as Bo and yes it is." They nodded again. "Anyway, mother said Jo, Lou and friends are coming down for a celebration barbeque this weekend for Cam." Jo cheered and Niall shouted something about food. "Hang on. You said Cam is 13?" I nodded, where is Liam going with this? "How did he get a B in his maths paper already." I laughed. "We have smart genes. He got put in early. No doubt by the end of Year 11 he will be an A* like me." They laughed, shaking their heads. "How are you related to Lou?" Lou pouted and I hugged his torso. "Who knows." He smacked my head lightly and I pretended to cry on Harry. Harry gasped and cuddled me closer. Lou glared at him and Harry stuck out his tounge. "Okay, Im stopping the fight right now. Boys and girls we need to go home, Jo and Jess have work tomorrow and we have a busy day." The boys and girls groaned and me and Jo laughed. "We'll see you soon." They nodded and hugged us each goodbye. We waved as they got into their car and drove off and closed the door, locking it as we made our way upstairs to bed. We parted ways in the hallway and hugged and kissed eachother goodnight, before going into our own bedrooms.

I turned on the shower, letting the hot water run and got some fresh towels putting them on the towel rack. I hopped in and washed my red hair. I will never get bored of having bright red hair. I did the usual shave and hopped out, wrapping a towel around myself securly. I waited until I was fully dry and put on my usual nightwear, bootyshorts and a vesttop. I pulled my damp hair into a side plait and got under the covers to sleep.
