"KIK" Chapter Six.

CHAPTER SIX: JESSICA'S POINT OF VIEW.

I fluttered my eyes and felt a familiar feeling. My eyes shot open and I sat up, reaching for the bucket on my bedside table. I threw up once again, trying to avoid looking at the red mixture lurking in the bowl. I picked up the ticktac packet and chucked a few in my mouth. I scanned the room as I saw my friends sleeping in awkward positions. Liam and Niall were on the twoseater sofa with a hospital blanket chucked over them. Nick and Hary were on the second twoseater sofa with a blanket over them. Zayn and Jo were cuddled up on the armchair next to my bed with my brown blanket over them. Lou was on the otherside of my bed cuddled in a ball and holding onto my hand. I smiled slightly. Its good to feel cared about so much that your friends dont want to leave you in a hospital room by yourself. I did try and persuade them I would be okay, but they wouldnt have it. I picked up my phone and saw I had a Twitter mention. I opened up Twitter and smiled. Harry_Styles: twitpic1e345t5 doesnt Jess look beautiful when shes sleeping, even though shes in hospital?:) There were loads of retweets and comments. I decided to be brave and write a tweet. JessJess: Great way to start the morning with throwing up blood, glad I have my friends and family with me:) I closed and locked the phone, looking out the window as I saw birds fly past into the trees where their babies were. "Jess, are you alright?" I tore my gaze away from the window and looked at Harry who was sitting on the end of my bed. "Im fine. Im just watching the birds." He smiled. "Want to watch with me?" He slowly nodded and I moved over a bit so he could slide up next to me and watch. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I leant on his shoulder. We sat in silence, watching as nature woke up to morning.

"Jess, you have visitors?" I looked up from my book and glanced at Jo who shrugged her shoulders. I looked at Harry who smiled sheepishly like the other boys. "Okay then?" Lou opened the door and a middleaged lady came in and smiled once she saw me. She turned to Lou and hugged him, kissing him on the cheek and turned to me with tears in her eyes. "Lottie, Fliss, Daisy, Pheobe" Four little girls came walking in slowly and smiled when they saw me. "Shes so pretty." I raised my eyebrows and Lou laughed. "This is your cousin Jess." They smiled. "Hello" They waved and I smiled. "You've grown up so much, last time I saw you was when this photo was taken." She handed me a photo where there was my mum and dad and my mum had a baby in her arms. Lou was standing with his mum and he looked about 3 or 4. "Wow. Ive changed." Jo laughed and stroked my hair. "Your still a nutter." I rolled my eyes and poked her. "You Only Live Once." She scoffed. I turned back to my auntie. "Your names Jay, isnt it?" She smiled and nodded. "How's your parents?" Jo laughed and I glared at her. "Mum and dad are okay. I have 3 younger brothers. They've all gone to see family at the moment so they dont know Im here." She raised her eyebrows. "Dont you think you should tell them?" I shook my head. "No point. Im getting out of here soon. I hate hospitals." Jo sighed. "Jess your still ill." I pouted. "I wish I wasnt." Lou stroked my hair and I sighed in happiness. "Jess has your hair always been red?" I turned to Fliss and shook my head. "No sweetie it hasnt, I dyed it a few months ago." She nodded. "Why?" I laughed. "I have no idea. But I prefer it red." She smiled and I helped her onto the bed. Pheobe and Daisy held their arms out so they came and sat next to me and Lottie when to sit on my feet at the end. "Boys you should go home now to freshen up. Jo go with them, you have the key." She nodded and Lou and Nick stayed in the room. "Boys bring me back my stuff!" I heard mumble agreements. "Jess I have to go, but the boys will keep me updated." I smiled sadly and nodded. Nick kissed me on the forehead and hugged me. "Promise me you wont leave me." I nodded and wiped away a stray tear. "I promise." He nodded and walked out the room, leaving me with my new family.

CHAPTER SIX: JESSICA'S POINT OF VIEW- 2 HOURS LATER.

"Come on girls, its time to go now." I helped Jay pick up Pheobe, as she was falling asleep. I kissed her on the forehead and she smiled snuggling deeper into Jay. Daisy kissed me before sliding off the bed, holding Lotties hand walking to the door. Lottie kissed my forehead and walked out the door with Daisy. "I'll miss you." I hugged Fliss tightly. I kissed her forehead and she took her mums hand. Over the past 2 hours I have grown quite close to Fliss. Dont get me wrong Im close to all of them, Lottie is like a friend I can talk to. Fliss is my sister and Daisy and Pheobe are like my children, I have a natural motherly instinct with them. Like I do with my brothers. The door closed and Lou smiled at me. "Well?" I raised my eyebrows. "They're lovely." He smiled and kissed my forehead. "Jess, I know barely anything about you." I laughed, my life has never actually been that interesting. "Theres not a lot to know really." Lou rolled his eyes and playfully punched me. "I dont care, I want to know everything. 20 Questions?" Lou smirked and I facepalmed. Who knows what types of secrets hes going to undercover. "Okay Lou, bring it." We highfived and I waited for the torture to start. "Favourite colour?" This is hard, I love all of the colours! "Ummm, purple" He nodded and smirked at me. "Purples a lovely colour! Full name?" This made me laugh. I remember the first time this was asked and I didnt know my full name. I didnt even know I was related to the boy that asked the question in the first place. "Jessica Marie Tomlinson." He smiled and I rolled my eyes. Childish. "Favourite food?" I love all types of food! How can he expect me to pick just one meal?! "Faijitas!" Just thinking about them makes my mouth water. If the world didnt have faijitas anymore I think I would cry for the rest of my life! "Best friends?" This is easy! "Jo, Sophie, Nick, Shannon, Harry, Louis, Niall, Liam and Zayn." What sort of question was that?! "First kiss?" This is the part where hes going to go all big brother mode on me now...great! "About 8 years ago?" He raised his eyebrows. "How old were you?" He really isnt good at maths. "8?" He fakegasped, making him look like a gay man. "If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?" This is a hard question. "Italy! Go visit ma hometown seein as Im Italian!" He burst out laughing from my crap chavy accent. "Never do that again Jess!" I rolled my eyes. Stupid boy. Jokes I love him. I have to. Hes family. Besides, no one else would. Except El. But shes like the perfect match for him. "When you get married, where would you have the ceremony?" Why is he asking these questions? "A church. I'd want to get married under the view of the people who couldnt be with me. Like my grandad." We smiled together. I love this guy.

"Guys Im tired! Shut the fuck up so I can sleep!" All the boys turned towards me and the girls laughed. Yes you read right, girls. Once Lou had finished tormenting me with 20 questions, the boys and Jo came back and we just relaxed in the hotel room. Seeing as there's no where else I can go. The boys brung their Wii so we played random games for a while until I had more unexpected visitors. Dani and El suprised the boys and me by coming to see us in hospital. They're both really nice and I get along with all of them. El has already told me secretly, that when she gets married to Lou Im the maid of honour! So happy! "Jess you cant sleep yet?!" I raised my eyebrows at Niall and Jo tutted at him. "Niall, Niall, Niall. When will you ever learn? Jess doesnt like being kept from her sleep, or woken up from it." He laughed nervously. "Niall, I want to sleep. So Im sleeping." He stuck out his tounge so I gestured for Jo to poke him. "Ow!" Jo put her hands up in selfdefence. "JESS TOLD ME TO!" I gasped and held my chest. "I did no such thing!" She rolled her eyes and everyone laughed. "Now everyone. I love you all, but seriously I want to sleep so shut your traps!" Everyone shut up and I smiled in victory. Niall curled up on the twoseater sofa with Harry. Jo and Zayn in the armchair on my right. Lou and El in the armchair on my left. Dani and Liam on the other twoseater sofa. We all said goodnight and then turned off the light, drifting into darkness, with the comfortable feeling of eachothers presence throughout the night.
