"WELCOME TO LOS ANGELES." Lianna and Savannah smile at the flight attendant as they pass him, exiting the aircraft and heading straight to the baggage claim."How was your sleep?" Lianna inquired with a smile looking at her friends ruffled hair, recalling her constant movements and occasional sleeping on Lianna's shoulder. She wasn't going to tell Savannah but she took a few selfies of her friends open-mouthed sleeping.
Savannah sighed with a grin, "Amazing, better than yours I presume?" She joked as they waited for their suitcases and ordered an uber for when they leave.
"Yeah, you're very funny. But the trip went by a lot faster than I thought," Lianna answered, just as their bags came around. Quickly grabbing them, they hurried to the exit to find their uber waiting for them.
After putting their luggage in the trunk, they greeted the uber driver as they got into the back seat before giggling in excitement because they were actually in L.A.
As they drove to the hotel they booked for the week, Lianna looked out the window in awe of their surroundings all while Savannah was making conversation with the driver. The girls learning that man lived in the town all his life and was pursuing an acting career, although he wasn't having much luck, hence the uber driving job.
After about a half hour of driving through traffic, they finally reach the hotel, the girls both thank and say good luck to the driver before grabbing all their things and entering the hotel to check-in.
After checking in, a bellboy comes and helps the girls with their luggage, Lianna taking notice to the way he's looking at her friend, who does not notice. Lianna can't help but smile because the guy was pretty cute, and she could easily understand why he seemed so quickly infatuated with Savannah. She was gorgeous. Once they made it to their room, the bellboy dropped off their bags and before he could leave, Lianna rummaged through her bag to quickly find and give him a tip for the help.
Once he was gone they shut the door and squealed together at the realization that they were really there. Savannah ran over to the large king sized bed and jumped on it in excitement. Both girls deciding earlier when booking the room that it'd be cheaper to just get one bed, plus it was so big they wouldn't even need to worry about bumping into each other during the night.
Lianna laughed at her friend before going into the bathroom and gasping at how surprisingly big the shower was, it looked like at least ten people could fit inside. She could not believe that they had gotten this place at the price they did, the only downside to the room was there wasn't a view of anything other than the next door building outside the window in their room. They didn't mind though, they knew they wouldn't spend too much time in the hotel room.
Quickly sending her parents a text letting them know they made it to the hotel, Lianna walked back out of the bathroom to find Savannah already getting dressed into cooler clothing because it was a lot warmer there than back where they lived in Maine.
"I was thinking we could go find somewhere to eat?" Savannah suggested, pulling a white crocheted crop top over her head.
Lianna looked at the clock, seeing it was almost five pm, "Yeah that sounds good, I may or may not have refused that airplane food," she joked before going to her suitcase and pulling out a pair of loose ripped jeans and a random band tee. "I'm gonna go change and use the bathroom first while you decide where we're going," she suggested before going to the bathroom, hearing her friend let out an enthusiastic "okay!"
After using the bathroom and changing into the outfit she had picked out, Lianna looked in the mirror, trying to fix her hair, running her fingers through it, trying to quickly detangle the strands. She put on some lip balm before going back out to meet her friend right outside the door, asking if she was ready to go. Lianna went and grabbed her purse, making sure the room key was inside before leaving and locking the door behind them.
