'Mistake'

Saturday 2nd August

Will's apartment:

2:00am

No POV

Daren was sat at his desk, making the final adjustments to his song.

"Almost done. *yawn* Wow, it's getting late."

At this point, Daren heard the sound of a key scratching against the door, followed by raucous laughter.

"What the hell is that? Will?"

"Daaareeen. I can't open the door." Will said, as he and Reina continued to laugh.

Daren opened the door, and the two nearly fell in.

"Hey ol' buddy, how you doin'? Will asked, barely able to stand.

Daren was very tired, and in no mood to joke around.

"Dude, just go to sleep, we'll talk in the morning. Reina, are you alright?"

"I'm not drunk," Reina said, stumbling, and almost falling.

"Uh, yeah, ok." Said Daren. "I'm going to bed, don't do anything dumb, ok?"

"Sure man, we'll go to bed too." Said Will, as the two began to laugh like children.

Daren went to his room, barely able to keep his eyes open, and got into bed. A few moments later, Will entered.

"Hey Daren, do you have a condom?"

"Uh, yeah, sure." In his tired state, Daren gave Will the condom, without even thinking about what they were about to do. It only dawned on him a few moments later.

"Wait a minute, what?"

Daren got out of bed, and walked into the living room after Will, in an attempt to talk to him, before he did anything stupid.

"Will wait, do you know what you're- oh my god you're naked." Daren said averting his gaze.

"Don't worry, I'm fine." Will said walking towards his room.

"Wait, where's Reina?" Daren asked Will.

Before Will could answer, Reina emerged from Will's room, wearing only her underwear. "Will, did you get it?"

In shock, Daren looked away again. "Oh my God, this is a nightmare." Daren went back to his room, and tried his hardest to fall asleep, as quick as possible.

Saturday 2nd August

Will's apartment:

9:15am

No POV

Daren woke up early, to repay Will and Reina for the previous night's events.

"Alright, let's see if they're awake."

Daren walked into will's bedroom to find the two together, in bed, fast asleep.

"Rise and shine, asshats." Said Daren loudly as he turned on the lights.

Will and Reina groaned at the sudden light and noise.

"Please Daren, have mercy." Pleaded Will. "I'm not ready to deal with-"

"Tough. Do you want to explain what happened last night?"

"What do you mean?" Will asked, confused.

Reina still had not said anything, as she hadn't yet fully realised what had happened, or where she was.

"Do you want to explain why I had to see both of you naked?"

At this point, Reina suddenly caught up.

"Oh my God! You saw me naked?" Reina screamed.

"Well, no, you were half naked, he was fully naked. I left before it went any further."

"Oh my God, I'm so embarrassed." Reina covered her face with a pillow.

"Well, I'm gonna leave you two idiots to talk, I'm sure you've got a lot to say."

Daren left the room, neither of the two said anything for a while.

"Do you remember what happened last night?" Reina asked, with her face still under the cushion.

"No, but I'm pretty sure I know what we did."

"What do you mean?" Reina replied.

"Well, I'm pretty sure I know what this little plastic packet on my nightstand is. Frankly, I'm just glad we used it."

"Oh god! What do we do, Will?"

"Um, right now you might want to pull up the sheets, you're still naked."

"Oh crap."
