Dear Lovely Readers,

Thank you for reading He's Alive and all of your kind comments and votes.

Can you believe AoS season two is less than fifty hours away?

I'm very sorry for not updating sooner. School has been interrupting my writing, but I worked a lot this weekend so I could finish at least this part before the show returned.

After this chapter, there is one left.

But do not fret, FitzSimmons shippers! I have a couple more tricks up my sleeve... I'll definitely be writing more FitzSimmons, the writers of the show will just set up the story for me.

Which, has it's own pros and cons...

Anyway, I love your comments and especially the votes... those always make me smile, thank you to those who do, but mostly I love that you read, so thank you very much and I hope I can continue to write what you like!!

By the way... this is the longest chapter ever. Hope you enjoy!

FitzSimmons need to get together. Very soon. At the end. At the beginning. I don't care. It just needs to happen.

Part Fourteen- Fitz's POV

I scrubbed my right hand, trying to wash away the dried, crimson color from it. It had taken me sometime to leave her bedside after she had gotten out of surgery a little over six hours ago, but Skye finally convinced me that Simmons wouldn't be going anywhere and I should at least make myself somewhat presentable when she wakes up. We were all thanking the stars that her wound wasn't very severing, just a lot of lost blood which needed to be accounted for.

The minute she went slack against me would remain burned into my memory forever. I thought for sure she was gone and had proceeded to screaming her name as all the blood ran out of me too. My right hand had found the bleeding point on her leg, and I don't know why or how I knew what to do, but I put pressure on it in hopes of stopping the blood from soaking the bottom of her jeans and pooling up on the tiled floor. With one arm, it was slightly difficult, but I managed to lean her into me and hold her there while putting pressure on the wound until a blonde woman left and came rushing back with a group of people who claimed to be doctors. After the experience we had just endured, I wasn't so sure. But then Skye ran in and assured me that Simmons was in good hands; Jemma was lifted onto a medical bed and taken into an operating room.

It felt like that lasted two hours.

Skye said it took about three and a half minutes.

Right after Simmons was ushered into surgery, May and Trip had joined Skye and I in the waiting area some nurses had set up with two couches and a chair and a couple of magazines. No one had any desire to flip through them. It's not like I even recognized the celebrities on the cover in the first place.

For a while, we all sat in silence, no one asked me the common questions like "How are you feeling?" or "Do you remember anything else yet?" No one even asked the question that must have been brewing in their minds: "What had happened?" Though I'm sure they had all already been well informed of the situation- S.H.I.E.L.D had been infiltrated yet again. By whom, no one knew. But there were two unidentified bodies lying dead somewhere in this place, so all of these agents had to admit the inevitable statement.

I wondered how I would have felt. The me who had been betrayed weeks ago by someone I trusted. I wondered if I would have been surprised, or maybe just used to it by now.
