"... you're wearing your piercing." jaebum points out, noticing the earrings they got together in tokyo.

"yes, of course. is that what you wanted to say?"

"no, i just noticed it." jaebum admits, leaning forward to press kisses against her cheeks. "i wanted to talk to you about us."

"what about us?"

"where do we go from here?"

"i don't know what you want me to say, jaebum."

"i want you to tell me if you like me or not? i want to know if whatever we're doing is serious enough to pursue."

"i want it to be." seulgi states carefully, "but i'm barely in seoul, and you're modeling less."

"yet we've consistently met up across three different cities by schedules alone, and i'm making time to go to milan with you. i'm willing to put in the work if you are." jaebum cups her face, pressing kisses against her lips, "we can do this... i know we can. we were making excuses before... but i'm tired of making excuses and i just want to be happy...and i want to be with you."

seulgi breaks out into a smile, one that reaches her eyes, "so when we go to milan and you attend the valentino show with me... it'll be kind of admitting to everyone that you're my boyfriend."

"i like the sound of that though."

"i do too."

"and maybe i should start that photo blog... show the world all the traveling i do with my girlfriend."

"i like the sound of that too." seulgi mocks, getting comfortable where she's seated as jaebum kisses her more. they're interrupted by a knock at the door. "room service is here."

after eating their food, they get ready for bed, though they spend most of that time just kissing and chatting quietly until they're ready to sleep. the next morning, they pack their things, check out of the hotel and head off on their flight to milan. since jaebum's invitation was a bit last minute, they leave the airport and find an outfit for him before checking into their hotel and getting ready for the show. they're sharing a room this time, because seulgi's manager doesn't care if they're dating or not, he just wants to make sure seulgi gets to the show on time.

while seulgi's getting some touch-ups done, her manager tells them the news. photos of them together at the chanel event have already surfaced, so their fan base already has an idea about their relationship. "i haven't seen any negative comments," heechul admits, "so let's milk it on the carpet."

jaebum can get used to this. he likes playing the supportive boyfriend role. the ride to the venue is pretty chill, and arrival is where they come alive. heechul exits the car first, and opens the door. there's photographers everywhere, but he's used to it. he's dressed in a valentino t-shirt, tucked into some black trousers with a matching blazer and some silver accessories. it's simple, yet fits the mood, and he's not trying to wow people tonight anyway. seulgi provides enough wow factor in her sleeveless black dress with her feathery bust and statement earrings. she's hot, jaebum makes sure to tell her so as they walk to the carpet together.

they don't spend too much time on the carpet, before being escorted inside for the fashion show, taking their seats and waiting. they greet fellow models and celebrities, take a bunch of photos together for various instagram accounts, do quick shout outs for various fashion magazine snapchat accounts and then finally it's time for the show. jaebum places an arm around the back of seulgi's chair, smiling to himself when she leans into him. fashion shows aren't really his cup of tea, he's not invited to many for that reason, but this is seulgi's element. she takes photos on her own phone of her favorite looks, shares them on her instagram stories. she takes a photo of them for her instagram stories, captioning it with a simple fluttering heart and kissing face emoji, but it makes jaebum insanely happy.
