new york holds a special place in seulgi's heart. she went to her first beyonce concert here, her first (and only) time walking in a fashion show was here, and she kissed jaebum for the first time here.

they were attending a pop-up show for supreme during christmas and stumbled under a mistletoe. it was childish, funny, yet embarrassing, but seulgi was tipsy enough where she could laugh it off and hide that she set it up and purposefully led jaebum towards the festive plant.

she's liked jaebum since she got lost in koreatown with him after knowing him for an hour. it was one of those... intense crushes at first sight, that make your heart pound, and your tongue gets tied, and you feel like everyone can spy your blush from miles away. jaebum hasn't caught on, and she's simultaneously thankful for that but also wants to scream over it. they've done this back and forth, hooking up whenever they're in the same town for too long in her opinion, and she wants to do something about it but she's afraid.

jaebum's hot, so who's to say that he can't and doesn't lure other girls into his bed? seulgi has no idea if what they have going on is only unique to them, or common for jaebum. what if whenever they're not in the same city, he's shacking up with some other girl? like yuju, or naeun, or.... jennie? he and jennie are scheduled to work together soon, seulgi heard about it on twitter (more like jennie gushed about it on twitter), and she's not thrilled about it.

but, putting all that aside, seulgi is thrilled to see him again, has plans already to spend the next two days with jaebum, even sit in on his photoshoot since hers is already done. she's on her way there now, jaebum shooting for vogue wearing the new givenchy spring collection. he knows she's on her way, she couldn't surprise him because she needed someone to let her in.

thankfully the people he's working with today are good friends, so they won't spread any rumors about her visiting him. when she arrives, she shoots jaebum a text that she's there and waits at the back door of the studio. jaebum opens the door with a huge smile on his face, pulling her inside and hugging her tight. "i missed you!" seulgi admits, because this is one thing she can openly share with him.

"i missed you too." jaebum replies, placing a kiss on her forehead.

"who's your photographer today?"

"taecyeon hyung." jaebum answers, grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the set to say hi.

seulgi plays the part of the visiting best friend well, she doesn't make a ruckus, let's jaebum finish hair and makeup in peace before the first outfit and then stands near the monitor, watching the photos appear as they're taken. he looks great, as always, so very handsome in his white sleeveless top, and toned arms on display. she practically drools as he takes a few photos walking away from the camera, broad back filling the material of a t-shirt nicely, and seulgi briefly wonders how well the scratches she left back in tokyo healed. after the shoot, jaebum looks through his photos briefly before changing into his own personal clothes and saying goodbye to the staff, escorting seulgi out to get a quick meal, her treat, for a job well done.
