Beside You. (Luke Hemmings fluff)

The day I had been dreading for weeks had finally come. My eyes fluttered open and I let out a sigh, clicking the button on my alarm clock. Before I could sit up, Luke wrapped his arms around me and pulled me against him. He mumbled, "I don't want to go."

"You have to," I replied quietly, wanting nothing more than to stay wrapped in his arms under the covers for the rest of my life. "You have to be at the airport in two hours."

His bags were already packed, so when we finally dragged ourselves out of bed, all we had to do was get dressed. I put on a big sweatshirt, a beanie, and a pair of jeans. He pulled on a Guns N Roses shirt and a leather jacket over top of it, jeans, and stepped into his boots. He grabbed his bag and sighed, "You ready to go?"

"No," I pouted.

"I know," He replied quietly, putting his bag down and holding his arms out wide. "Come here." I wrapped my arms around him and he squeezed me tight, resting his chin on the top of my head. "We'll get through it, we always do."

"Six months though?" I could feel the tears coming. Luke and I weren't serious the last time he had gone on a tour for this long, almost two years ago. "That's a long time."

"I'll fly you out to visit."

I didn't respond, just let him go and headed to the car. "Come on, you'll be late."

It was raining, just adding to the sad-movie-mood. On top of that, Amnesia came on the radio. I clicked it off quickly and looked back out the window. I couldn't even glance at Luke without letting the tears building up in my eyes fall.

When we got to the airport, I went through security and to the gate with him. We sat down and the rest of the boys tried to cheer me up, but it was no use. Ashton sat on my lap, "Smmmiiiilllleeee."

I gave him a smile, weak smile and Michael combed through my hair with his fingers. "You'll be okay, we'll fly you out whenever you want!" These guys were my family.

When they called for first class, the boys stood up. My stomach did a flip and I started to cry, burying my hands in my face. "I can't do this." I turned to walk away, but Luke grabbed my arm.

"Y/N," He said, his voice broken. "Please, don't leave like this."

"I love you," I told him quietly and he leaned down to kiss me. I held my hands on both sides of his face, not wanting to let him go. "Don't forget about me."

"Hey, stop," He said, only pulling centimeters away from my face. He kissed me again. "I could never do that."

After a very lengthy goodbye, I hugged the boys and went on my way. Fans tried to talk to me, but I brushed them off and headed back to my car. I got in, but didn't turn on the engine. I just laid my forehead on the steering wheel and let out a sigh. As I dug for the keys, my phone buzzed in my bag.
