riska's pov-
run.....go now! ..... change riska come on the moons almost done....!!!! i tried to focus on shifting but i couldnt my brown eyes pleaded with the moon another all black wolf stod beside me he was huge compared to my small human form he nudged my hand with his muzzle the pain was there but why wasnt i shifting?
"to late" the moon seemed to say....
I bolted up right as my alarm rang i slamed it and it instantly shut up
"it's just a dream riska..." i whispered i threw the sheets off and padded to the bathroom and looked in the big mirror that covered most of my wall my hair clung to my forhead with sweat
"ewww" i mumbled as i peeled off my clothes and hoped in the shower "king for a day" by pierce the veil played as i sang along to vic's sweet voice i shampooed and conditioned my hair and got out i changed into dark denim skinny jeans that bunched at the bottem with a white tank top and black cardigan that was baggy but didn't go past my waist i put on a white belt and my black toms and did my make up and eyeshadow in a sweep motion almost, i dried my hair and let it fall curly before deciding on a simple messy ponytail. i added some simple black necklases and a big ring and grabbed my over the shoulder grey bag and phone and txted nikki she was my best friend since forever her mum helped raise me and we both loved the indie rock/alternative style.
"hey bitch im picking you up in ten kay?" i txted
"kay kay :)" she said i smiled and ran down stairs
"mrs.jones off to see nichole?" mrs. rams our house keeper said
"yeah i'll be home later" i said smiling and grabing my keys from her extended hand i drove a little black car i didnt mind i didnt have a fancy car really. i drove over to her house and watched as she bounded out the door her mother calling after her she nodded and waved by she had on simple black skinnys with a red tank top with a candyskull on it with a blue blazer and blue toms her bag hanging lossley from her side
"hey" i said turning down the radio
"hey" she said smiling at me we went to the mall first and bought new shoes and more jeans before i got a txt from marcus
"we need to talk" i looked at the txt for a bit
"what about?" i murmered i drove home and droped off nikki
"see you at school tomorow!" she said we went to a regular school but we tended to stay in a group not really mingling with the humans it was rare for wolves to have human parnters but the few that did didnt brag. It was honestly an embarrassing thing to be mated with a human.
"hey babe" i said coming inside marcus sat on the sofa as i droped my bags he had messy spiked dirty blond hair and piercing blue eyes. he got up
"i got sooo many cute things like oooohhh!!!" i said going threw my bags
"riska.." he said i took out a pair of shoes
"see aren't these cute? what about these?" i said pulling out another pair
"riska listin" he said i took out a skirt
"i love love this one!" i said
"riska were over" he siad quickly i droped everything and stod up
"what?" i asked
"i cant be with you anymore...i've found a mate" he said quietly
"what?!" i almost yelled
"were to be wedded in a few months... two days after your birthday" he said not daring to look at me i shoke and new my eyes had gone a dull yellow meainging my change would happen soon
"riska...calm down i havnt loved you for a year now" he mumbled
"A YEAR?!!!?!!!" i yelled slaping him " YOU DIDNT THINK TO TELL ME SOONER YOU SICK BASTARD!" i screamed going for another hit but he caught my hand and threw me back on the couch
"you do not have the athority to hit an alpha!" he almsot yelled his eyes had turned a dull yellow to now i bit back a whimper
"REMINDER YOUR NOT AN APLHA YET!" i yelled and got back up "leave" i said under my breath
"what?" he said "leave! get out go!" i yeled pushing him his jaw clenched but he left with out another word i waited for the sound of his car to grow faint before running up the stairs and bawling my eyes out into a pillow that night i didnt sleep at all....
the next month was a blur i was depressed no matter how much nikki alex (her mate) and my father begged me to eat or go out i just couldn't marcus had his new bride to be in town and word got to me about how ugly she was compared to my beuty and that she wasn't a pureblood like me but only a mutt. i smiled at that but hatted even the mention of his name. one morining tho i woke up and went for a run the crisp october air bit at my shorts and sweater. i ran threw the woods and was a mile or so in when i sensed something i slowed to a jog and let my eyes wander a back shadow moved out of my vision i gasped as it jumped on me it was at least for times my size like a bear but it was a wolf it's sent wasn't familiar so it was rouge. i muffled a scream his eyes moved over me and stped at my neck he was panting and his hsoulder was bleeding he leaned down and bit my shoulder i winced for a few seconds but moaned in pleasure as it's tounge darted out and licked the wound and just like that he was gone... i scrambled to my feet and sprinted back i wasnt going to wait around to find out who he was i ran up the stairs and into my bathroom slamming the door and panting electricity was running threw my body as i moved to the mirror and slipped off my hoddie my shoulder was red and had a distinctive paw print on it around it was swollen but as i rembered the calming sensation his tounge had provided and it instantly stoped burning as i watched the baw turned balck as ink and a cresnt moon formed around it...
"HOLLY SHIT!" i yelled/whispered....i had ben marked....by one of our rival packs beta....
