Omololu Omari Akinlolu, 30
(2-3 hours later)

I woke up breathing heavy as fuck, while I slowly opened my eyes to some bright ass lights.

I wanted to punch the fuck out of whoever it is putting that damn flashlight in my eyes.

Panting, "Where the hell am I at?"

"My apologies for the flashlight usage Mr. Akinlolu. I had to check your eyesight and pupil dilation, but everything seems to be stable and thus far you're okay it seems," he said, "How are you feeling?"

"Like shit," I breathed heavily and coughed a bit, "What happened doc? Why do I have a mask on my face?"

"The oxygen mask is to regulate your slightly abnormal breathing patterns because you had a very serious heart attack," he said.

"What the fuck?" I murmured, breathing in slowly trying to take this information in.

"You'll also have to stay here for a while to be monitored because it's more than likely that you may suffer another attack but..." he sighed hard looking at the floor, "... It'll be fatal... We're doing everything we can to prevent such from happening but if or when it occurs we're at least trying to reduce the impact of the heart attack as much as possible."

"Shit," I sighed and closed my eyes, "How did this happen doc? Why did I get a heart attack? It's not like my health is fucked up. I don't understand this shit man," I said on the verge of tears because if shit goes wrong... I can't even bring myself to think about it all, "I'm not ready to die man."

"A heart attack occurs when one or more of your coronary arteries becomes blocked. Over time, a coronary artery can narrow from the buildup of various substances, including cholesterol. Atherosclerosis is the condition known as coronary artery disease which causes most heart attacks. In your case, your next heart attack will be massive. It'll effect a large portion of your heart muscle, and cause a large amount of heart damage. This can happen if the blockage in a coronary artery occurs in a large artery that supplies a large portion of the heart which completely blocks blood flow to the heart and sometimes lasts for a long period of time," the doctor explained.

"But my health is good. I still don't understand how this shit could happen," I said getting pissed off. "Well what about stress? Does that have anything to do with it?"

"How often are you stressed out? Because that could be a possibility and then there's other undermining factors like your families medical history...?" he suggested.

"I work a lot. I do smoke weed often, and cigarettes sometimes," I admitted, "Ooh man. Then there's my girlfriend and my bro Chris," I sighed, shaking my head.
