Chapter 13: Hope or Despair?

(Y/n)POV.

Everyone stared at shock at Enoshima as she explains she and Ikusaba were fraternal twins and she killed her own sister.

"But if you were sisters why wouldn't.... I mean don't siblings usually share a last name or..." Fukawa says shaking intensely. Enoshima hangs her head slightly and moves her rock and roll sign hands up and down slightly.

"Come on we already covered this! The bait and switch name game is a common devise!." Enoshima says as she sits up and angles her fingers differently at us. "Sorry you can't get your head around it!"

"But that would mean you kill-" Asahina starts and cover her mouth with one hand while the other shakily points at Enoshima. "Oh god! You murdered your own sister!" I tense slightly. Enoshima looks at her with a crazed look and big gestures.

"My reasons for doing so runs deeper than the ocean." She says and leans in close to Asahina's face with a hand gesture. She turns away from Asahina a second later. "Nah I was just bored!" She laughs then aruptly stops and looks at me. "I'm sure you know what I'm talking about riiiiight (y/n) (l/n)?" She asks me. My body freezes and begins to shake uncontrollably. I slam my hands on my podium my eyes wide and fearful.

"Shut up! You don't know what your talking about! I didn't kill my siblings because I was bored!" I yell Enoshima laughs.

"Oh that's right!" She says. "You killed them in such a brutal way to save them from, what? A few insults from mommy and daddy?" My eyes widen even more. A second later Enoshima brings to fingers to the side of her nose and looks at us sideways.

"I do apologize." She starts in a new voice. "I haven't addressed a real human being for so long one quickly falls out of practice it seems." She changes back to how she was before with he tongue sticking out and her arms in a 'x' with her hands in a rock and roll sign. Completely disregarding me.

"Must be why I'm sick of my own company bleh! What's the old chestnut about too many cooks?" I could just sense the tension and fear emitting from almost everyone. But I couldn't bear to make eye contact with any of them.

"I was right. It's her." Neagi says with sweat running down his face. Enoshima changes again her hair somehow gets into a high ponytail and she puts glasses on her face.

"You see for the plan to run like a well oiled machine we needed someone behind the scenes. A stage manager if you like, someone to puppeteer Monokuma and to keep an eye on you. The proverbial master mind. As such due to my exhausting prehibrial analysts Ikusaba,to put it mildly, would have been outrageously over cast. She was the weaker minded of the two. Case and point consider the type of person who jumps at the chance to join a ragtag mercenary group." She pauses. "Oh yes the choice was clear, it had to be me. So we agreed that she would stay a student and I would insidiously move things along from the wings. But alas I ran into a bit of a hiccup." She monologues her plan to us. My eyes migrate to the floor in a feeble attempt to keep my sanity from spilling out. My hands turn white as they tighten around the podium.

"You killed her off... to please your viewer ship?" Neagi asks.

"Well, there was a bit more to it." Enoshima starts. My eyes drift back to her. "Suffice it to say, the vulgar wretch has worn out her Welcome." Neagi's eyes widen and he gasps. "Sometimes you can just plan something out and in the long run see where it's going ya know? Or see when your sibling is getting all the love and affection you always wanted from your parents but never got!"Enoshima says switching personalities again and looking me straight in the eye. "Can you imagine the despair! Being abused and neglected all your life thinking it was normal for your parents only to find out oopsie! Your the odd one out." Enoshima laughs. I couldn't take it anymore.
