Lumine X Kody

Lumine's POV.

I woke up to a massive flash of light. I then saw Kody fall to the floor and I yelled out to him. There was blood from his mouth and on the floor. Then I saw her on the floor. I scrambled to Kody and tried to shake him awake but it wasn't working.

"KODY! PLEASE!" I yelled over and over again. I started crying. Everything else was quite. Suddenly I heard someone running up the stairs. I help Kody closer to me and cried. Then I saw Aiden in the doorway.

"L-Lumine? K-Kody?" He said almost in disbelief. I growled when he tried to get closer, and he backed away.

"I'm S-Sorry Aiden...h-here" hesitantly I handed over Kody. There was blood on my sleeves and face but I didn't care.

"Lumine...is that your mother?" Aiden said when he was sitting on the floor with Kody in his arms.

"Y-yes..." I said looking back at the unconscious woman laying on the floor. "...Adien, I don't want to go with her, she'll beat me" I said looking back at Aiden.

"Lumine, I won't let here take you for good, but you will have to go with her for at least a week. I'm so sorry Lumine" Aiden said.

"I....I understand, I'll go with her back...please come back for me....?" I said crying into my sleeve.

"I will Lumine, your almost like a son to me...but like a son in law because of you-" I quickly cut him off.

"OKAY! YEP THANKS...Hehehe" I yelled turning into a tomato.

Adien's POV

"Umm, Lumine you might have to hurry and start packing...your 'mother' is probably going to wake up soon and well, you know" I said walking with Lumine to Kody's room with Kody in my arms. 

"Ah, your right...I'll just come with you and Kody first then I'll get straight to packing....if you don't mind that is" Lumine said looking up at me with caution in his eyes. 

"Of course, I wouldn't say no to that." I said as Lumine opened Kody's door. We walked inside and I laid my son on his bed. He was so peaceful when she slept. This was the only time I could ever get close to Kody now, ever since his mother...went...he has been more and more distant from me and everyone else. But Lumine has changed him, for the better. He'll get her back soon enough...that's for sure.

"I'll leave you to be then?" I said standing up and looking over to Lumine who was sitting on the end of Kody's bed. 

"U-umm, yes please" He said getting up and walking to where I was just standing.

"Don't stay to long okay?" I said just before I walked out of the room and shut the door. I walked down the stairs into the kitchen. I saw Lumine's so called 'mother' sitting on one of the closer chairs. 

"So? Your son..." She began, standing up and walking around the kitchen.

"Yes? What about him?" I already knew what she was going to say.

"He's well, not good with magic. But he is very powerful for a boy." She said walking closer to me.

"Yes...He's one of the broken ones but he is going to be fixed soon. Why are you here?" I didn't have any intention of small talk, especially about my son. 

"You know why I'm here. My son." She said with a smirk that made me think otherwise.

"No, that's not it, he still had two days. Why are you really here?" I asked walking up to her.

"Ugh, your smart huh? Well, I want your son too" She said. 

"What? Why?" I said almost aggressively. 

"What if I told you I knew where his mother was right now. What if I told you she was outside the building waiting for her son?" She said turning around walking away. No, how? I thought....

"What do you mean? What do you know and how do you know her?" I said trying not to show her that I was panicking.

"Heh, I have my ways Aiden..." This is going way to far. For goodness-sakes I didn't even know her name!

"What's your name? Lumine doesn't remember and you never told me." I said as she sat back down with an amused look on her face.

"I'm Amber" She said with the smirk still on her face.

"Is Allison really here?" I said remembering Kody and Lumine were still upstairs, and suddenly starting to panic even more.

"Well, why don't you see for yourself Aiden?" Amber said looking behind me.

"Aiden, where is Kody?"
