Lumine's POV

"Lumine. You aren't safe"

"W-w-What?" I said.

"Dad?!-" Kody stood up and slammed him hands on the table. "-what the hell do you mean?!"

"Kody...I'm sorry...but Lumine mustn't stay here. Not for now anyways...his mother...is looking for him..." Sherry said. Sherry had become very fond of me.

"My mother..?" I said, almost unable to get the words out of my mouth.

"Y-Yes...she's looking for you Lumine...and she's...well...powerful."

"No! She can't take him!-" Kody run up to me and stood infront of me with his hands in fists. "-I won't let her!"

I felt tears in my eyes.

"Kody stand down...we won't let her take him for good..."

Kody softened.

"F-Fine!" Kody turned around and gave me a look saying 'please...come back'.

"I'm sorry Kody...I'll be back" I quickly wrapped my arms around Kody and so did he.

I saw sherry and Adien walk out the room.

As soon as they left Kody gave me a kiss on the check. I felt his wet check against mine as we hugged again.

...I don't know how I'm going to leave this boy...
