Au: yes, Virgil and Roman have wings they where born with them and no one knows why. Their blending in with a human society and they hide there wings so now one finds out.

Roman's POV
I woke up from my bed I had a weird dream last night, I got up and got dressed in my normal clothing, I had to remember to tuck my wings in so no one could see them. If people found out I had wings who knows what they'll do. I was born with them, maybe a birth defect I don't know, but never the less my parents still took care of me, they said I was really special and one of a kind. I decided to go to my local church.

Virgil's POV
I jolted awake after having another nightmare I have them every night, no dreams, no nothing just nightmares. I was born with wings a birth defect I suppose, My parents never loved me they always called me a freak and said I wasn't human that I was a monster. They kicked me out at the age of 7, I was alone, A couple of people tried to kidnap me but I managed to escape every time. I learned that being different was bad, having wings is bad, ever since than I have kept my wings hidden and have told no one. Right now I live in a crummy apartment and I have a job as a cleaner it's not much but it's something. I don't really go to church that often because I was brought up not believing in god but something wanted me to go so I did.

I walked up to the church door, I opened it slightly making sure no one was in there, I didn't see anyone so I walked in. I sat down on one of the chairs I just looked up at the cross in the middle of the stand, I was so lost in thought I didn't even hear the door open.

Roman's POV
I walk into the church I see someone sitting on one of the seats up the front. He's just staring at the cross I decided to not disturb him, I sit on the opposite seat. I can't help but get curious, I watch him, he's just staring blankly at the cross, I wonder what he's thinking about. He's face is actually kinda cute he's dressed in a purple and black jacket, purple shirt and black ripped jeans.

Virgil's POV
I start to think about everything in my life, all the bad things, there's nothing good, why am I still even living what's the point anymore. I start tearing up, I put my hoodie on to try and hide myself from the outside world.

Roman's POV
I notice him starting to cry and covered himself in his hoodie I run over to him and quickly ask what's wrong.

Virgil's POV
I hear footsteps coming fast someone touched my arm, I quickly shot up to see who it was, I was scared out of my mind, I didn't hear anyone come in. "Oh sorry I didn't mean to startle you" he said In a soft voice. I back away slowly to the other side of the chair. I huddle in the corner and closed my eyes hoping this was just a dream. Than I felt someone hold me, hold me in there arms. "Was - was he hugging me?" I thought. "Hey it's going to be okay shhh" he said while still trying to calm me down. No ones ever hugged me before, it felt nice. I stopped crying and just went to sobbing I hugged onto him tight and just cried on his shoulder, "what am I doing, I'm crying on some random guys shoulder" I thought. There was something about this guy, I trusted him I don't know why. He started rubbing my back I slowly calmed down enough to take a look at him, I looked at his face it was beautiful, he was so handsome. "You alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine now, thanks" I replied looking down.

"Do you mind telling me what's wrong?" He's voice sounded so concerned. I nodded. He sat next to me and we started to talk. I told him about my past (not about my wings obviously) and we had a nice conversation. Time flied by so fast I didn't even realise it was 4:00 pm. "Oh I'm so sorry for making you sit hear listening to my life story" I was so dumb I just wasted someone's day.

"Hey no it's fine, hey um here's my number if you need anything ring me or shoot me a text, maybe we can hang out sometime" he smiled handing me a piece of paper. "Thank you, for everything" I replied slightly blushing. I walk back home and soon enough go to sleep.

Roman's POV
I walk out of the church, that guy was really cute I feel so sorry for him. I hope he texts me, I really liked talking to him it was nice. I'm just glad I could help him out. I finally made it home and fell asleep.
