Softly- Time with Jared (English Version)

Chapter 10 - the first day on tour

The next morning Jared and Rachel went with the suitcases to the hotel to load everything into the tour bus. Emma greeted them overjoyed and missed Rachel an All-Acces-Band which she had to wear from now on and off she went.   

The tour bus was relatively big - but for so many people it seemed very narrow at second glance. Jared told her that they would sleep together in the same bunk, as there is no more available. But for both of them it wasn't bad - falling asleep together every night was a great idea. Rachel's only concern was whether she would be able to keep her hands off him during the tour so as not to disturb the others at night.

The rest of the band stormed into the bus and Rachel was listened to by everyone and bombarded with questions. After all, they wanted to know everything about her, because Jared had never taken a woman on tour before and rarely had a girlfriend. She answered everything well and also asked counter-questions in order to better assess the others.

After a few hours and many kilometers the guys retired to the back of the bus to work together on more songs. Rachel took the chance to unpack her camera and take some pictures of the band, which was completely absorbed in the work. She had set her mind on making a kind of tour diary and giving it to the boys later.

Then she sat down with Emma and talked a bit about the upcoming concerts and what the schedule would be like here. She also asked if she could take some pictures during the concerts, which Emma affirmed. They were completely absorbed in her conversation when suddenly a familiar voice whispered in her ear that it was time for bed.

She quickly turned around, kissed Jared and let him pull her towards her bunk. There they cuddled up together and enjoyed the time until they finally fell asleep exhausted from the day. When Rachel woke up she saw in Jared's bright blue eyes and had to grin directly. It hadn't been a dream but reality, she was on tour with Jared and was also able to pursue her passion for photography. Never before has she been so completely happy and satisfied.   

After a few kisses they were officially woken up by Emma, who tore open the curtain on the bunk and said that they were almost at the hall and if you still like food, you should do it now.

Quickly they got up, made themselves fresh and ate breakfast. Then the bus stopped and the work started.

The band grabbed their instruments and went into the hall with the technicians. Rachel took her camera and took pictures and tried not to stand in anyone's way. In between there were small meal breaks, the day passed so fast that it was already time for the soundcheck with the Echelons.

Rachel stood aside inconspicuously and continued to shoot pictures until a group of girls approached her and asked if they could get some of the pictures and if they weren't known, they looked so familiar to the girls. She took the mail addresses and assured them of some pictures. She didn't say anything to know them because she didn't know what she was allowed to say and what she wasn't allowed to say.

The concert itself went great and except for one incident where an Echelon tried to kiss Jared, she was able to take a lot of great pictures and absorb the music. Jay dedicated some songs to her, even if only the two of them heard it and it was a complete success. After an encore everyone disappeared backstage and celebrated Rachel's first concert as part of the crew. So a successful and exciting day came to an end.
