Chapter 14:
Niall’s POV: “I’m afraid we can’t do anything more. I’m sorry lad.” The doctor’s words broke my heart. Seeing a beautiful girl in a hospital bed with the sheets over her, it’s heartbreaking especially because she is gone. Knowing she is gone it’s a killer. I walk in the room to say my last goodbye. “Taylor why did u go, Why did you leave me here alone and broken. You can’t do this to me it isn’t fair. IT’S NOT FAIR!” I lean my head against her arm and I don’t notice it but while my head is down the sheets start moving. I lift my head up to kiss her goodbye until I notice her breathing, and the monitor tracing her heart rate again. “DOCTOR!!!” He runs back into the room and is shocked himself to see her awakening. The nurse follows behind him and checks all of the bags to make sure she has the medicine running through her system, checks the monitors to write down her heart rating. “She is one lucky girl to be alive. She must have cut too deep to cause this much trouble.” He continues writing down her data while speaking to me about her. “So will she be alright?” I start to shake nervous of what he is going to say. “Hopefully, yes. In the meantime let her rest up. She needs it.” I nod my head in agreement knowing that of course she needs her sleep cause she almost die forever. I go get some food because I am starving as always. I haven’t eaten in forever! I grab an apple, some chips, a sandwich and something to drink. I chow down my sandwich and chips, chugged my drink and starting on my apple. Right when I was about to take a bite I saw Taylor’s eyes flutter a bit. “Hey beautiful.” She moves fast not knowing where she is. “Where the hell am I? Please don’t tell me I’m in a hospital I’m deathly afraid of them.” I rub my neck not knowing what to say. “You’re in a hospital; you died once for a good amount of time.” Tears start to form in her eyes knowing she died and was brought back to life. “You need to get your rest love, you need it. Try to get some sleep ok?” She shakes her head in disagreement, “I’m afraid to. What if I fall asleep and I don’t wake up. What if I leave you, I don’t want to leave you I want to stay with you forever and ever.” I start to cry a little bit. “I don’t want to leave you either. I want you to stick by my side and never leave. I want you to be mine for the rest of my life. And hopefully that comes true, I’ll do everything I can to make it happen. Now get some rest.” She rolls over facing me and grabs my hand I kiss or on the forehead. “Goodnight love.” She closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep.
