Chapter 1- The beginning

Hummmmmmmm, the soothing sound of a FTL engine spooling up, ready to travel faster than the speed of light and get to the next solar system in a matter of minutes. CRASH,BANG SMASH, that didn't sound too good..."What was that?!" Shouted Captain Wayde, he was the one of the best known pilots in whole galaxy, with his skills he had been able to get out of situations others could only dream of, with his trusty ship the The Defiant and his crew at his side, he was was one of the most feared and respected pilots in all known space."Ummm, it seems we might have one of those chaos fairies in the engine room sir"Explained Jeremy, the ships engineer."Damn"Muttered Wayde under his breath. Chaos fairies were named that for a reason, they were usually quite small, about the size of a hummingbird and very fast and they liked to get into engines and dismantle them so they could collect them as little trophies, mainly to show to other fairies, the shinier the better.

"Jeremy,Oliver and Artemis you're with me"Shouted the captain"We're going to get this fairy out of our ship so we can get to our next destination afterwards. The four men walked towards the engine room taking great caution as chaos fairies were known to lay traps to stop anyone from interrupting their trophy hunt. "Alright it's just beyond this door, shhhhh"Whispered the Captain to the other three men outside the door. "3,2,1!" As they burst through the door. The fairy was nowhere to be seen, probably deep inside the engine. "Jeremy go and take a look in the engine, see if it's in there"ordered the Captain "Alright sir"Replied Jeremy. He look inside the engine as a puff of black smoke emerged, covering the poor engineers face in a thick black haze."You alright Jeremy?" Asked the captain "Yeah Captain *Cough**Cough* I'm alright, he's defiantly in there though"
